I like that Gaudreau thinks when he plays hockey. Clearly he's an offensive player who has scored a lot of goals - so he thinks 'shoot' but you can see him keep his head up to know where his linemates are and he makes the pass when it's the better play.

Didn't Skidmark (Healy.. I'm gonna find new disgusting names for him every time I refer to him) also predict a Jets win so the Flames would end 3-3 on the roadtrip, right before this game?

Johnny's playing with some confidence now.
I wonder if one of the big things they wanted him to focus on last game was to realize that just because everyone in the NHL is bigger than they were in college, there's still room out there for him to play his game?

Well, universally different period than the first, as was to be expected so far this year. Now the best period awaits. Could be a walk in the park home to end this trip. Hiller's been excellent all game.
