Lets look at the positives here guys. We surely still outnumber the scum. We have outed the SK and will be lynching him tonight. We have some decent reads on some players and some good dialogue. I still think we will win this game, we just have to continue to be diligent.

Yup, with the SK down with a lynch today, there should only be one night kill from now on. The overall numbers don't look great (assuming 4-5 mafia) but the game is far from over with the SK lynch

At worst we are up 8-5 after tonight's actions. SK is gone so one night kill a night. We only get 2 misses now before the scum will have a majority. The good news is we got lots of patterns to go on and lots of inter-connectedness between everyone. So tonight's mafia kill is going to tell us a lot.

I asked, since the way that the day reset, without mentioning that we regained any powers, had me wondering if we got them back.
Basically, I didn't want to go through the big giant debate about who to kill if we didn't have the kill option. In retrospect, maybe we could have got more info from having that debate, since formulate is clearly our lynch target for today. My main worry was townies were going to all be forces to reveal powers to defend themselves, especially the cop.

You would have to ask SS. It's not my power. I just go along for the ride. I think it goes on as long as SS is alive.

I have the feeling it will be very sparse. Not a lot of mystery happening this weekend - I'm on my phone so I think I'll be able to make it though.

I am headed to bed, just checking in to make sure nothing crazy happened.
Just a note: Eyes are pretty rough right now, and using a PC is pretty much out of the question for more than a couple mins at a time. If it isnt better in the next couple days, I am likely going to ask for a replacement so you guys are not down an active player trying to weed out the scum.

I strongly believe that the Eternals / Guardians are not cults. My reading of how cults work on the wiki lead me to believe they keep the cult a secret, so having their name associated with these groups in the first post doesn't add up to me. Also, we already have 3 "members" already on day 2. That's going to eat up the players too quickly.
As for the option of joining those groups, it does sound very 'blackmail' like. It appears 100% of the offers have been accepted. Also, all three say they don't know the benefit to the group. Therefore, either they are all lying about the benefits, or the punishment for not joining must be large. Therefore, the plan to lynch the next member of the group is likely a bad idea as it will put the next invitee in a real rough spot.
What has confused me so far in catching up is the great distrust to Matt. Once RD flipped town, suspicions on Matt relate only to him being a member of the Eternals. For some reason, he is being attacked the most for this membership and his vague responses. But all of the group members have generally corroborated his story and the new members are just as vague.
So how did the Matt vote get started? First by GirlySports, followed quickly by ECF. I'm having a hard time quoting posts from pages ago, so I am just cutting and pasting.
GirlySports:
"Starseed and GGG wanting to give RD a chance and voting for GP_Matt makes sense
GP_Matt wanting to give RD a chance and voting for RD makes no sense
And seeing that Starseed is Guardian and GP_Matt is Eternal..
Vote
GP_Matt"
To be honest, I re-read this about 10 times and still can't quite follow the logic there. Really odd vote. I have been suspicious of Girly most of the game so far, and this just pushes it further.
ECF:
"Everything GP_Matt does to me seems rotten. Way too many vague and half responses.
I think if we get a flip for GP, this might tell us a lot, including maybe something about this eternal thing. Because GP sure as hell isn't telling us about it.
Vote: GP_Matt"
So ECF's vote against Matt is based on the fact that he is an Eternal and is being vague about it. Okay, I could buy that. But now ECF is also an Eternal, is also extremely vague about it, and yet he STILL has his vote of Matt. What? That makes no sense.
Thus, I don't think ECF's vote against Matt was due to the Eternals, it was another reason - he's scum and knows the momentum against Matt would be easy to build once Girly had the vote down.
Vote: East Coast Flame

Was going through old votes when I came accross this one. Mrkajz used the above logic to kick off the vote run on ECF. The vote goes as follows:
Ecf: mrkajz, GGG, Wood, Starseed, gp_Matt, form, squiggs.
Then ECF reveals. The 3 unknowns are myself, mrkajz, Squiggs. There is obviously a mafia role cop somewhere in the game. Did they get lucky early with their investigations, find a reason to start the ECF vote, then stay away from ECF until they forced a reveal.

Game aside, I hope that gets better for you Rathji. I get similar issues occasionally due to a degenerative eye disorder and migraines and looking at a PC/Phone is like staring at the surface of the sun. I don't blame you at all for wanting to avoid a long time at the screen.
