Briere scores with 0.5 left to win the game.

Of note for Flames fans, I thought Berra looked very solid. Made some huge saves in the third to earn the win, including staying very large coming across the crease to stop a 2-on-1. Iginla looked good with Duchesne; contrary to some nay-sayers who have been calling him slow for years, he had no problem keeping up on rushes, and, again contrary to nay-sayers, was frequently back deep in his own zone making good defensive reads.

Both looked good for an Avs team that is extremely quick and fun to watch,.

Was that Berra's first career regulation win?

Yeah, glad for Berra. He seemed like a pretty good guy and has some talent. He just had to make some adjustments.

As for Iginla coming back deep into his own zone. It's too bad he didn't do that more in his last years in Calgary but of course that could have been the coach's way that they used him too.

No. Just a quick scan shows a win vs. the Islanders in regulation in February last year. May be more

Man, Buffalo suck. I know Anaheim are a very good team, but Buffalo can't even get out of their own end and their whole play just blows.

Yeah, Buffalo are horrendously awful. Playing a dump 'n' chase game, without the chase.

I'm loving this Centre Ice preview. If it wasn't so expensive I would probably actually pay for it.

Tim Jackman is an awful, awful fighter. He should never do it.

Yeah same here. Why not make it $99? I bet more people would order it if it was affordable.

The way it is now it's something like $25 a month?

Again, half the price would require twice the number of people subscribing. No way you would get close to that

Buffalo making a strong statement to the league that they want McDavid/Eichel.

Can Buffalo be a verb? Maybe Oilering? The level of suckitude is strong and I can't find a good descriptor. Anaheim at 29 shots in the second, Buffalo with 7. And that's being generous

Just a normal hip check. Wasn't violent or even big. Must have caught a rut it something because you can't really see why that would've hurt

I can't believe for a moment that I thought we were actually going to have a chance at McDavid/Eichel. Carolina and Buffalo might not win 20% of their games.

At least they are playing each other tomorrow, and one of them will be forced to accept a win.
