Cant send him down. He would get killed down there if yesterdays game is any indication of the play type..

Bollig-Stajan-McGrattan have had a nice game by their standards. That just doesn't help us much.

Gio obviusly been watched carefully by the Blues, they don't want to let him shoot. Raymond is a marked man too, but he's playing pretty well when he has any space.

We're playing a strong, skilled and deep team and they get to pick the matchups. I'm giving a lot of kudos to our guys for giving a #### in a game like this. The Flames are just so overmatched.

Backlund would be great with Johnny. Backlund is so tenacious and good at taking the puck he could take the puck and give it to Johnny to gain the offensive zone.

No matter how badly we're playing, Brodie looks even more confident than last season.

Seriously, isn't crappy play from the veterans kind of what people were hoping for so that the likes of Baertshci, Ferlqnd, Jooris...can make their cases?

Man, that Scorpion ad is horrible. Nice to see that kid with the hat from Degrassi is still getting work though.

I like Backlund, but he's scared me on numerous occasions so far. He does make some pretty bonehead plays and some very high percentage plays. Not sure the Flames would want to pair him with the rookie at this time.

Monahan-Gaudreau and Setoguchi seems like too much of a defensive liability. Backlund with Gaudreau and Bollig might work. Bollig is a good possession player and can park right in front of the net.
Backlund with Johnny and Hudler would be worth a try.

Colborne's not doing any better. Johnny got launched in the air against Edm after Colborne fumbled with the puck. Obviously it's not working so far with johnny and joe

You know what would be a tragedy... Finishing 2nd last and then having a team below us winning the lottery.

Why would the grand total of three games provide any indication that this is how they are going to use him? Things are almost certain to change, and adjustments to be made in the course of the next several months. It's early. It's a long season. The coaching staff appears content to ease him into the lineup. Why are we in such a rush?

Hanfin is no slouch. The worst case is finishing third and having a 4th or lower team win the lottery.

Kylington is no slouch either. As long as we're in the top 5, we'll get a great player.

Is it the Degrassi kid, or Finch from American Pie?

This is about how I figured tonight would go. That is a really good Blues team.
