Gibraltar. Seriously? I heard they have to play their home games in Portugal.

The problem is that UEFA have done this on purpose. They want to include the minnows because it makes for more games and more money.
Hence the additions of Gibraltar along with places like Andorra, Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Faroe Islands, etc.

Reminds me of the CL final with Bayern vs Chealsea.. Bayern dominated but just couldn't buy a goal.

Full credit to Poland, they defended well and took their chances.
The Germans were too aggressive and got caught out.

Its one Euro qualifier.
Unfortunately with the expanded number of teams for the tournament its not much of a big deal to either team as they're both more than likely to qualify anyways.

No, for Poland to finally beat Germany and in real meaningful competition. I honestly can't think pf a comparable sports rival for Canada. Imagine if American Football was as big as hockey here and the whole world cared about it and we beat the US for the first time, after 81 years.
People in Poland are going to celebrate this for a while.

the smaller countries want it too
there has been talk of a pre-qualifying tournament but they all hate it, they want to play against the big teams

And so they should, they played well.
But its still a qualifier and the end result likely doesnt change all that much.

Of course they do, they want the big teams to come to their cities so they can watch, even if that means watching the representatives of their own nations get absolutely annihilated.

the qualifier doesn't mean anything to Poland
it's not a friendly, its a match that counts, they beat Germany
whether it matters to who qualifies that doesn't matter
the key part is they beat Germany

I'd be willing to say that the Germans did a better job beating themselves than Poland beating them. The Polish did a good job counter attacking and got it done.

A win is a win is a win.
As I said earlier, they defended well and took the opportunities they got, however few those opportunities were.

I agree, the Polish Goaltender played an amazing game and the Defense blocked a ton of shots.
I just hope the Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Özil, and Reus get well soon.
I haven't kept up with Gomez but I cant believe that he hasn't been called up right now.
