Second and I will post this for the third time this day as one source of the mis-trust against me is I led the charge on rejecting offers (true) and then joined the cult myself (also true). I had changed my mind on joining groups mid-day 2 after the first 2 rejections but before we believed the powers didn't work. I posted the following and no one objected then.
I think that speculation on the role of these groups is currently hurting the town and we should be scum hunting on behaviors rather than speculation on what the groups might be.

Which is the mafia role that targets the actor and moves all his actions onto a target? That's A -----> C, ignoring B. Drury and I were not able to find it.
And this is what I am exactly doing, ignoring the groups and focusing on your behavior. Don't try to deflect.

[QUOTE=Hockeyguy15;4947485]Starseed what do you mean by with Delgar taking a bullet it has bought you more time to be out in the open?

I don't believe this has been answered yet. It's one part of the big post that I'm rather confused by.

I've thought about it for sure. Best case the MOT's are townies that don't have much more info than we do on who's who (what Starseed is claiming). Worst case is they are mafia and using the portal to add to the confusion (what you are theorizing). A third option would be something like myself and Aeneas have said about being outsiders (I can just see CaptainCrunch or Street Pharmacist calling us ****) making suggestions. One thing I think we all agree on is that their suggestions have come up empty so far and shouldn't be trusted any more than we 'trust' one another.

This is the biggest tell. Starseed, as Starseed in this thread, has stated he has a gut feeling GGG is town going so far as listing him as one of his top 3 potential townies. He has done this while posting consecutively under a pseudonym with his partner that GGG is one of his top suspects, along with other players in Delgar and Devo22 that have been proven to be town. Why the smoke and mirrors? Why tell us that you think GGG is town if he's your top suspect, or conversely, why tell us he is your top suspect if you think he's town? One or the other happened but I bet you'll blame that on your partner too. Town doesn't need to lie and deceive, that's mafia.
And while I, rightfully, have been blamed for casting a shadow on Delgar, I did it in openly at a time when a good chunk of posters were placing me on their town list. If I was trying to hide, I would have not made my suspicions of Delgar so 'open.' Starseed, while he did take note of Delgar, he went in the shadows and put him on a list that we didn't even know was coming from people in the game and, if he can be believed, tried to put an extra vote on him to start the day. If (big if) he's town he suspected Delgar as much as I did, but I think it's more likely he wasn't expecting Delgar to die protecting ECF and was setting up a lynch down the road for Delgar.
I'm curious the explanation Starseed will give for why GGG was on his town list but he was actively putting a target on his back in the shadows and I hope he doesn't just gloss over this question while making his next long post full of inaccuracies.

I'm back from vacation. The last few pages are a lot to digest. Pika will think before posting, but just wanted you to know I'm in front of a keyboard again for the first time in 11 days.

Twilight portal - how do you guys know the messages from the twilight portal were not mafia trying to create confusion? Did it seem genuine? What reasons did they give for their list?
Right now I am having trouble getting a strong read. Girly seems too defensive. Delgar's actions have been very suspect. Stazzy has the lowest post count. ECF is a poster that I was wary of, and I agree with the poster who pointed out the hiding in plain sight theory.
Right now I am going to vote for someone who was in on the bizaro mob, and who lynched RD.

Another lie/deception/ulterior motive
So you were lying then but you are telling it all as it is now? How can we trust you?

Timbo, of that quote you just posted from starseed I found this part more interesting.

Why would starseed as that if he is indeed the MOT and town?

I think I will put my vote back on starseed for now. He never did answer my question about what he meant by Delgar taking a bullet so he has more time in the open, as well as the comment I just posted about the twilight portal.

Page 29 posts 562,563,565,570,573 are very damning after reading starseeds reveal. I just am trying to see his end game. It's so very convoluted and nonsensical. At least it is to me at this point and time.

I see where HG and Timbo are going with this, but keep in mind that post from Starseed is over 1000 posts old. At that time, he was probably trying to keep the ruse going and this leading question about the portal was his way of trying to encourage discussion in that direction. Not saying this was a good play or that it helped us out, but to me it doesn't seem terrible given the context.

Also mrkajz if we don't go back and look at old posts how are we going to know who is and who isn't mafia. Maybe they made a slip up earlier on and we didn't notice until some info comes to light down the road.
All we have to go on is what people say and how they vote, and if we can't look back and question the past what do we have to work with?

Yeah, I agree with that. But now we have to determine if was he lying (or at the very least contradiciting) with his reveal and we caught it, or was it just bad gameplay on starseed's part? I guess that was what I was trying to get at with my first post.

I posted the names of the two possible roles that could do it in my above post. The Re-director or Nexus would work.
from the wiki retyped from my phone as mafiascum wiki is blocked at work.
A redirector is a role that causes all night actions taken by a player (IE:ME) on a particular night by a specific player (again ME) to target a second specific player (ECF) instead of whatever the original target was.
I posted the role right in the post you quoted.
Also the nexus role since you seem not to want to google it for yourself.
A Nexus is a player that passively redirects players who target it to a random other player

Of all the things I suspect of Starseed doing, bad gameplay isn't up there. He's good at this game, and he set himself up very nicely and had covered all his bases until we voted for him because we didn't really have anyone else to go on once GGG revealed his power.
If it wasn't for the GGG reveal we would have probably lynched him and be down 7 town persons heading into the night phase. Starseed would have looked good because he had a 'gut feeling' that GGG was town. And in the twilight thread we probably would have been speaking to dead fake delgar or something.
And then when MOT was revealed to be mafia, he would have brought this post up saying he never trusted it in the first place.
But that post is another example of the deceit that Starseed has performed on the town and another reason why this vote should be easy.
But there's likely 3 or 4 other mafia members out there and they only need 2 or 3 townies to get on board to lynch someone else at the deadline.

I think I would ask questions to help bring out conversations to help decide what to do with my powers.
If I had the power of a twilight thread, how would I use it the best? Say: "Hey guys, welcome to my thread. Let's talk about the game for another 15 minutes right after we lynched somebody!" That wouldn't be helpful. Why not do something that would get the bad guys scratching their heads? They have the upper hand and can communicate with each other.
If they know that starseed can talk to someone (if he can...), they will likely kill him at night anyways. So why would we waste a lynch on someone that will likely die anyways? Like I said: I would rather give a person the chance to prove themselves right, than bully them into falling on a sword and killing another town member. We can't afford it.
I don't want to spend much more time focusing on one person. If there is NEW info... great! But I don't want to see the same stuff being brought up over and over again.

Yes that does make sense now, we must have missed it when we were looking at roles. That must be what happened because Puxlut says she's doesn't have Nexus power.

When I read your post it seems like you have 100% belief in what Puxlut says? Compared to posts about other players your certainty seems higher.
Is this intentional or am I reading something into your response that isn't there?
Also how were you and Druy looking at roles together.
