They treat the puck like some hot potato. If they just kept it on their sticks and made a conscious decision who to pass it to, that might be a good start.

I'd like to go back to what we were doing last year.. quick short passes to make sure we break out of the zone. All our forwards are waiting past the blue line and we either go stretch pass or chip off the boards. We kill our own possession.

They aren't playing confident yet, we need to get some good shifts all in a row to give them a bit of a jump, right now it looks like they are afraid of making mistakes. Except Gaudreau, who is making mistakes but at least he's fricken trying to make something happen every shift.

This was pretty much as bad of Flames hockey as I've seen since the dive after wondernut Burke canned Feaster last season.
