Sven will get called up before Christmas and stick with the team for the rest of the season. He will re-ignite the chemistry he had with Monahan last season and will have one of the longest point streaks in the NHL this season.

Flames start off hot with a 3-0 win vs Van, then they lose the next 11 games. By Christmas they are fighting for 29th overall with the sabers. flames close out the year in 28th and win the draft lotto and take a Def. boom...oh wait sutter is not running the show..

Dreams i guess, bottom line we will suck and close out the year in the bottom 5.

Johnny Hockey will lead all rookies in scoring and win the Calder Cup.
The Flames will finish 3rd from the bottom but win the draft lottery.

Flames defy all expectations and finish a respectable 29th. End up drafting third and are still able to pick McDavid.

Also, Johnny Hockey grows 2 inches taller during the season.

Perhaps not bold predictions, but...

  • Ferland is the first call-up.
  • Ramo is traded at the deadline.
  • Glencross is asked to lift his NMC but refuses.
  • Gaudreau finishes 3rd in Calder voting.

There will be a thread on CP calling for Mark Giordano to be traded. By February approximately half if posters will be in favor of it.

Those posters will all be stupid.

Monahan will score 30 goals this year. I honestly believe that. Gaudreau will assist on 28 of them.

Tens of thousands will demand that the Flames exchange their recently purchased Jones #54 jerseys. Countless others cancel their Kijiji ads selling Blair Jones jerseys.

So Johnny is going to spend the season & playoffs in the AHL?

JG wins Calder Cup while being 3rd in NHL rookie scoring? Bennett sees AHL time?

Does it count as a bold predicition if it's soemthing that is actually impossible?

I predict the Flames make the playoffs. A bunch of cry babies/idiots complain about the teams success because being too good is bad (maybe that's not so bold?).

Yeah, this is guaranteed to happen unless we're 30th.

Bold there indeed...

A game will be delayed due to skittles at the Saddledome.
