bennett and Potter on IR
Sam has been dealing with shoulder injury for some time
made it more aware to us in the last few days
spending the next 24-48 hours finalizing his procedure
may require surgery, but not final prognosis

-Setuguchi having a spot on this team isn't permanent, depends on his performance and people in addy's performance.
-Not a ton of surprises when it comes to who made the team.
-Fully expects the roster to change throughout the year
-Bennett has been playing with multiple injuries, tweaked groin & shoulder injury, said he was very impressed with his character and determination to make the team but he needs to get stronger.
-Believes there is a group of players not just 1 or 2 in the minors that could very well play a few games in Calgary this season
-Says there is a specific spot he wants to improve this team either through free agency or trades but won't get into details on that
-Likes our goaltending situation, says Hiller & Ramo have both been very impressive mentions we're deep with McDonald & Gillies and. Our goalies were one of the brightest spots of training camp
-Baertschi was close to making the team, but he's still young and there's a couple things he needs to round out, very well on the cusp though and he could be back in a day, week or month potentially.

Any lineup that has Jones and Setoguchi as the healthy scratches sounds good to me! Sets the tone as well that they need to be better.. As long as Johnny isn't scratched for the oilers game.

I like Treliving's thought process, and I can't disagree with a single thought he uttered today. He seems like a really sharp guy. Hopefully he'll do well in managing the assets that he said today were "much deeper than I thought".
I'm very hopeful for the future.
