But if people are serious about biking to/from work there are other solutions other than needing to use the main roads. I'm not too sure why the dedicated corridor is necessary in cases like that, but I could be wrong.
I once had a bike commute from Harvest Hills in the far north to Southland Drive, you find safe ways to get to work in a hurry.

And I have used the parallels to Elbow which is why I point that out. I know that a lot of it is marked as a bike route as well.

Agreed. It's too bad there are a million traffic lights on 16th Ave though.

It's not great but it's far from the worst in this city. The Crowchild/Bow Trail overpass is by far the worst screw up in the city. Crowchild is absolutely crippled from Bow Trail to 24th Ave by the University during any times of volume. Absolutely crippled.

From a traffic perspective completely agree. You couldn't design a worse confluence of roads than the crowchild crossing. From what I understand the MacLeod Trail thing is more just cosmetics compared to that.

Would be nice if we had some money to CLEAR and REMOVE snow this year. Yes, I'm aware that last year we did...eventually and only due to extreme circumstances.
