I'm not sure. Certainly not the Flames.

Would you be more comfortable with 'Here today, gone tomorrow'?

Hey if Alfredsson wants to play for less than a million for this year, I'd gladly take him! Our right side needs some attention. Waive Seto and have a guy like that around the team. Much more preferable. No chance in hell of it happening though.

Yeah. Kind of like Gaudreau! (and possibly Bennett)

Some interesting names on that list. Surprised Pitkanen hasn't found a home.

Why less than a million? He put up solid numbers last year, and it's not like the salary cap matters this year.
But like you said, it'll never happen. If Alfredsson comes back it's cause he wants to win a cup.

Sucks for someone who had a taste of the NHL, but living in Europe is an awesome life experience.

Letting rookies play only counts when it's the 4th or 5th best prospect.

Joe Haggerty @HackswithHaggs
Peter Chiarelli said David Pastrnak has been sent to Providence. He also said Ryan Spooner & Bobby Robins have made the team #BruinsTalk
Bobby Robins played 2 games for the Abbotsford Heat three years ago and has now made the Bruins NHL roster as a 32 year old after stints in Austria and Great Britain and many many years as an AHLer/ECHLer. Hockey can be weird sometimes ...

Sounds like Peter Mueller won't report to the AHL
Brian Sandalow @BrianSandalow
#ChicagoWolves GM Wendell Young on Mueller reporting: "We're hoping he is, but we're not counting on it." #stlblues
If he doesn't report that will be grounds for the Blues to terminate his contract

Wow. A "rebuilding" team had 1 single rookie make the team out of camp (we all know Bennet is going down). 3 in the past 2 years (Monahan, Bouma, Gaudreau). Case closed, I guess. Looks we are ready to rocket up the standings in 2017-18.

That's awesome! Good for him! Uncommon maybe, but definitely not weird. Looks like he came back from the pits of hockey obscurity. I love those kind of stories.

So having a guy like Sven or an undersized Bennet on this team is better? Why? The flames won't contend for the cup regardless if they toss a few extra rookies to the wolves.
Not to mention we need to spend a certain amount to reach the floor.

Bobby Robins - who i'd never heard of until now - looks to be the Shawn Thornton replacement.

Even in Austria he racked up the PM.
