Let the mocking begin, but I believe he will score 25+ in his rookie campaign. It may be the rose coloured glasses, but his raw talent hasn't been seen on this team in 2 decades. The Flames learned their lesson with what became of Martin St. Louis, and Marc Savard to a certain extent. I have to believe they will not make the same mistake a third time.

It was bold and well calculated pick. Should challenge for rookie of the year.
Btw, he was on my list and was surprised you took him so early. Well done!

Arena/complex announcement within weeks.

Frack, that would have been awesome!
Assuming the 7th and 12th picks from Carolina and Phx, I would guess Ritchie and Perlini or Sanheim? Oh well, thinking about it will only depress me.
As for the arena announcement, please be true - enough with these ongoing teases

I would imagine that numbers 1 and 2 are very much related to each other in that most road lineups were rubbish around the league this pre-season and therefore teams would be having less time of possession to draw penalties.
Not really worried about Gaudreau either so long as he's getting the appropriate offensive opportunities and ice time. I think anyone critiquing his road play based on pre-season is nothing more than Burke trying to insulate the kid and lower expectations.

Your inside knowledge is like a loose tooth. I know it's going to hurt poking at it but I can't help it! So until the day it falls out, I'm gonna keep at it, so bring on some more cryptic news! Thanks btw.

Well lacrosse is a given (because of the Roughnecks), and I don't think Calgary is ready for basketball or baseball franchises at this point. Is there even a cricket league in western Canada? Hahaha....
