We just need a few thousand Skittles Frisbee's to be printed up. Easy to get on to the ice, easy to sweep up and they make the appearance of an actual Skittle when sitting on the ice.

Then all you need is a bunch of multi coloured frisbees with "S" printed on the tops sold at the games to throw onto the ice.
I hope they have him come out for warm-up on Wednesday wearing #53, then when he returns to his stall, the #13 is hanging there waiting. Then, when they do the pregame intro, it will go --- #8 Joe Colborne, #11 Mikael Backlund, #13 Johnny Gaudreau ... and the crowd goes wild.

He was always committed to the Flames, and the Flames only, since day one.
The legend of Johnny Hockey just keeps growing. First, the Flames purposely not talking to his USHL coach, in hopes of drafting him (which they eagerly did in the 4th round, not having a third rounder that year). Then the debate about whether he would sign, and now the confirmation that Calgary was his team the moment he was drafted.
Loyalty, class, humility. This kid's a beauty.
P.S. I'd be okay if people didn't throw stuff on the ice after he scores (hat-tricks notwithstanding). Maybe if it was the preseason, but if all goes according to plan this will be a regular occurrence for many years to come...
f the skittles, throw cans of mountain dew for him
and if one of them hits wideman face in the process, that's a double win for us, right?
Loled.
I vote for the bulk sized (mini) skittles packs being thrown for a Johnny hat trick. We have to make sure it happens at the first trick so that it sticks as tradition. Otherwise I don't think it will.
