No, i am saying that the way he is approaching revealing his power seems genuine. So we might want to consider backing off and trying someone else. I am real flip floppy on him right now. His play is very similar to g p_matts in how he is defending himself.

For me all 3 inactives are roughly equal Baxter, hmm, and squiggs.

I think he's saying whoever the cop is can investigate hmmhmmcamo

I'm not opposes to letting him off the hook if he begins contributing, if he's telling the truth its best we keep all roles secret. IF he's telling the truth

My concern is that we continue to flip too easily all game, I don't want to let the Mafia be able to make excuses and get off the hook. I think being too easy on guys was my biggest flaw in game 1, so I don't want to watch the town grow the same habit

This isn't just about Matt and hmmhmmcamo, its for the rest of the game

I'm still wondering about this. Is this plausible? Any comments from the new groupers?

So if they are both saying they have powers, maybe they should reveal and we can discuss which power (assuming they are both town) to keep alive in the game.

Assuming one of them is mafia and they are the one that we decide to keep, they should (?) be able to prove it... no?

I sure do wish we still had a role cop.

I am back and forth on Hmmhmmcamo. Odds have already been discussed, but the odds of us hitting the doctor and cop on the same day are tiny.

For every person who claims a role there are two outcomes. They are telling the truth or they are lying. If they are lying they must be scum because no townie would falsely claim a role.

If we let him live, we find out in the morning because if he is still alive he was probably lying and we lynch him. But what is the cost of letting him live another day?
If the townies have powers I would guess that the mafia have powers as well. I will look at the wiki over lunch but I am sure there are quite a few mafia roles that would benefit them if we let him live another day.

If there is a consensus from the group I will reveal what I was given for joining the Eternals. I will use the same criteria as voting. If 10 people think it will help the town I will share.

I don't think it's plausible. It's definitely light against dark. If a person joins the Eternals they get dark spells and if a person join the Guardians they get light spells. However, these spells can benefit both sides. Scum can use another kill or can use the save to protect themselves from a killing and townies can do the same kill someone and protect themselves.

It makes for a much more interesting twist to the game because in the first game could townies kill? Can't remember. In the 2nd game the town had an assassin who killed someone on the first day.

Have I missed something? This is the first that I recall reading of light spells going to the Guardians and dark spells to the Eternals.

So Girly are you saying the eternals are part of the darkness?

Game one had someone with the same ability as in game 2, octothorp had a one shot kill

I thought the Guardian invites (GS and mrkajz) were offered a 1 time save for themselves, and starseed has a one shot power but he didn't reveal it. Then out of the Eternals ECF has the poison night kill, and Matt has a power that hasn't been revealed yet. Not sure where 'light' and 'dark' came from, unless she meant one seems like a save power and the other is a kill power?

Yeah one is a save power and one is a kill power.

The only ones we've confirmed we're offered/accepted on day 2. Matt and starseed haven't told us yet, and Matt has claimed his isn't a one shot kill. Assuming he isn't lying, it stands to reason that starseed a isn't a one-shot save, and the powers offered will be different every day.

One of each is a pretty big stretch to say that one group gets light powers and the other gets dark powers.

mrkajz44 said his message, from what we can only assume is the Guardian's leader, has said the Eternals are not to be trusted.

I think there has to be a Guardians vs Eternals showdown going on, or why else would his message try to point out the Eternals as bad?

Too many inconsistencies here. If she isn't scum she isn't helping the town either.

She stated this as if it was fact when it pure speculation. She is either lying or dangerous and I don't think we need either one at the moment. Throw in the fact that she rushed the lynch on RD and I think she needs to go.

I would wait until you are one vote from lynch unless you think your early disclosure will benefit the town.

mrkajz44 any further information on this?

Now that we know you and girlysports were offered (or you are claiming to have been offered) a one-night save this has a lot more credence. It does seem Guardians are trying to protect. So what do the leader of the Guardians know that makes him not trust the Eternals?

Assuming you and girlysports can be believed at all.

I don't think so. My letter asked me to join the Guardians to fight the darkness. But who are the darkness? All 5 people who received eternal and guardian letters have said their winning conditions did not change.

I think Eternals offer 'dark spells' and Guardians offer 'light' spells then it's up to the person who got the invite to decide whether to accept or not and if they accept, how to use their dark or light spell to enhance their townie-ness or mafia-ness. Perhaps a way to be a double agent!

There was also this posted on the morning of day 2.

I'm just answering a question of what I think is going on. mrkajz44 and I both declined a one night save. ECF has poison. You won't tell us what you have but you have something. And Starseed has something but doesn't want to disclose because it'll help the town. Is it farfetched that I think the Guardians offer saves and the Eternals offer kills?
