Had our players not collided on the riders first TD this would have been a walk. Very ugly but a win against the Riders always feels good in the end.

Thanks for taking the sack Tina.
We proved we can play with anyone tonight (even after spotting you 24 points - disclaimer, I haven't seen any of the first 3 quarters, but 3 picks doesn't help ). We'll hopefully get Durant back and then we'll see, won't we.

I am still trying to figure how Messam score a TD on that play.

That last offensive drive by Tate was awesome. It's the play calling that's for sure.

Tate was bad and Cornish basically didn't play. Let's not get carried away.

I don't understand the Suitor love fest for Saskatchewan. He's an anti-homer. He openly groans when good things happen for Sask

Sorry that's BS.

No one said perfect. Try putting a complete game together where backups don't light you up, or every return is a penalty.

I bet Rider fans are saying "If Tino Sunseri started the game instead of Seth Doege, they could have won the game." Stamps D awesome in the first half, terrible in the 2nd half. Offense was up and down. I don't think Tate stole BLM's starting job at all.

Doesn't take anything away from Sunseri making a few plays. Saw the highlights, yeah you missed a tackle but that's football. Considering the confidence I had prior to the game I've seen a glimmer of hope and what the team can do.

Calgary does need to learn how to stomp on teams when they're down and not let them back in it. I think everyone can agree with that.

EDIT: Riders should finish 3rd in the West, we'll beat out Winnipeg and should be able to beat out BC

Apparently the Riders "got jobbed" because the refs were able to keep track of the players on the field regarding the illegal substitution.

Twitter is hilarious

Or win games. A lot of them. The most in the league. That works too

Ideally, I would've loved it if the Stamps shut them out and Mosaic looked like a mosaic of empty seats by the end of the 3rd. score 180-0

but giving them a glimmer of hope of a comeback only to have it end on a Lemon sack with a 3 man D line is almost just as sweet

Saskatchewan is no good

That guy is trying to cheat and got caught. Karma to him that they didn't get a chance to win because of his stupid penalty. Calgary would have been 3 points ahead with lots of time but they ended up ahead by a TD with 10-15 seconds lost. Chambers just chewed him up in the sideline. hahaha!!

or wait ... maybe Riders player just don't know how to count

The TD plunge by Tate only took 2 seconds of the clock, but they also didn't have the option to take the ball on the 35. So whatever time the kickoff took, but they also started the final drive 5 yards closer.

Still, the stamps should have taken two kneels and then brought in the kicker for the last play, and it doesn't even matter if parades misses, because all it has to do is go through the end zone. And then even if it doesn't go out of the end zone, you just have to prevent sask from taking it back 110 yards to get a 50% chance of winning in OT.

Glad we don't have to look back and wonder why the Stamps didn't do that.

You do know that the other team also comes to play...right?

They will make plays, you cannot dominate other professional teams. Gotta give em credit for grabbing good ol mo and making a game of it.

It was their backup not 3rd stringer who is a professional trying to save his football career, if he didn't make something of this he'd be done. He went all out to save his job.

Maybe it was the confidence that made them try to score right away. Maybe another reason was with Paredes missing the FG on 3 occassions (not a 100% fault of his), they think scoring a TD is a way to win the game.

Not really. It was almost the equivalent of an NHL team playing the Flames farm team. Basically half the Stamps roster was out.

Suitor is by far the best analyst on TSN and it's not even close. Every year he gets better and he extemporizes on the subtleties of plays better than Lapolice can manage with a whole half to prepare.

Oh yeah, and that was painful to watch. Tate should never have needed to manage that last drive, Saskatchewan was so woeful for 40 minutes that the Stamps should have been up around six or seven touchdowns by then.
