Is it possible that one of them were given an offer to join the The Eternals or Guardians and was killed for turning it down?

I'm actually wondering if accepting an offer means you give the scum another kill.
GP_Matt accepts an offer and there is an extra kill.
Starseed, I'm not sure if his might end up being for Day 2 (I believe his Group came up after the hammer came down and RD's flip) or because it's a different group it doesn't give the scum an extra kill.
ECF has accepted an offer similar to GP_Matt's, so perhaps that means Day 2 will be another extra kill.
If at the end of Day 2 we have 3 overnight kills, perhaps it's due to these offers being given and accepted. GP_Matt said he was told membership is not free. Maybe it's via the vote against him to start, maybe it's giving the scum another kill. No one seems to be able to prove if these groups work for the light or scum. So far, they seem pretty scummy.
It's kind of reaching, but perhaps a pattern we should keep an eye on in case more people get recruited and suddenly the kill total per night starts going up.

We could request as a group that the next person to receive an invite turns it down and reports it back to the group.
At the moment I am regretting accepting it because it seems to be a huge distraction.

If you believe this is the case then you have to vote for one of them. Unless you really want to see if you are correct and we suffer 3 kills. That would really suck.

Since the people asked have a choice to join do we want to as a town say if you join you get lynched the next day? We could be turning down extra abilities but it would eliminate confusion for the town.
Would this be a good idea ECF and GP.

Based on how it's happened so far, I'd bet there is one invitation to Eternals each day and one to the Guardians each night.
Has it been asked if there has been any connection (communication or otherwise) between GP_Matt and ECF now that they are both Eternals?
I'm growing a little more suspicious of East Coast Flames lately:
1. Posting style is fairly consistent with a mafia member trying to keep a high post count, but not being too controversial or accusatory. The content of their posts isn't too deep.
2. Advocated a quicker lynch before RatherDashing had a chance to perhaps reveal information or theories. I know you've defended this as stopping the mafia from stalling, but it's been pointed to as scummy behaviour in this and previous games.
3. After noting mistrust and even voting for GP_Matt, you choose to join the same group? If I thought someone was scum, I don't know if I'd want affiliation with them.
It's not enough for a vote yet (plus it's still really early in the day) but it's food for thought. I'd like to get your reasoning for #3 on my list.
Rathji is still on my radar as well.

So most of us seem to think the two night kills were random. So we probably don't get anywhere pursuing this at this junction of the game.
The two factions are very interesting yet we do not have much information on them as well and if we can take the players word on it neither do they. So nothing here yet.
Voting patterns are probably still to early to show much of anything.
Oling has his suspicions on Delgar
I have mine on GirlySports
Others still look at GP_Matt
And some players are really hanging back hmmhmmcamo for instance Baxter Renegade also Squiggs96 and stazzy33.
So far I'm sticking with my suspicions on GirlySports and the fact that literally no hunting has been made by GS and most posts are deflective.
Vote:GirlySports
Im not inciting a dog pile but maybe others will see what I see in investigation.

I wouldn't say random, just that the deceased had no ties to the people (separate or same fractions) that killed them.

What is bothering me is how mum you are on what benefits you got from joining. There had to be a reason beside there seemed no downside.

I said that I think ACCEPTING these offers are giving the scum an extra kill. If they have already accepted the offers, there's little we can do to prevent the kills if that is the case.
I don't believe the people accepting the offers get to do the killing, but I am starting to wonder if the price of membership is that the scum get an extra kill.
I have to say, I'm starting to see what Timbo sees. This post of yours really highlights that.

GP_Matt and I don't have a way of speaking with each other outside of this thread. I said earlier that joining this group did not change how I felt about GP_Matt
I thought of the negative association that would come with joining the same group as someone who generally has a negative standing in this game and weighed that into my decision and decided that joining would still be beneficial. As I said before, I think a combination of scum and town will make up this group as they are neither good or evil.

I don't think I am mum, I have mentioned several times that I don't think it benefits the town to be discussing powers.

I've been questioning GP_Matt so I'm doing as much hunting as everyone.
I think people can see through you, you didn't vote on Day 1. You were waiting for something.

It might not benefit the town either if you keep it in a shroud of mystery to the point we stop believing you are aligned with the light and vote you out when you have a game saving power that can help us.

This post is exactly what I'm taking about.
GP_Matt is under some scrutiny and I think you are just following along.
I don't see you actively searching and inquiring about other players you only jump on the flavour of the day. You are trying to blend in!
All your other posts are pure filler and fluff.
People can see through me because I have transparency in my posts.
I directly stated I never voted for Bizaro86 or RD
Then I gave my valid reason.
Whats your reason for just being another sheep in the flock?
As a townie it is our duty to actively hunt scum. Not just ride on the coat tails of the masses.
Maybe its your style i dunno but it is setting off my alarms.

How am I just blending in? I already accused you of not voting on Day 1 and waiting for the results as it got later into the night. You didn't vote for bizaro either, you're just laying in the weeds "Would have" and a cellphone is not a plausible excuse. The fact is, you didn't do it. You let this little dinosaur do it. I don't trust you either but for now my vote is staying with GP_Matt cause the Eternals thing bugs me more.
And I'm hunting like anyone else. I disclosed the voting inconsistency of GP_Matt and cast the first vote on Day 2. I'm not just following along, ECF and I are leading the charge. I think you are wandering around aimlessly.
