I think he is trying to protect GP_Matt who is out in the open for the scum. We were on to him on day 1 and should have lynched his ass then. Of course he did, as an Eternal and not a townie it was to his benefit to vote for RD. He had to know RD was not part of his group so why wouldn't he?

Wow this whole game is nutso, it's nothing like the first time around! I try to get caught up after work and the thread just moves so fast. I move back to the office this week though and I will definitely be around lots this weekend.

mrkajz44 did press pretty hard for the hammer. It was terrible thinking if he was light, no reason not to give everyone a final chance to say their final thoughts and use their power (if possible). I'm more leaning towards him being darkness, but multiple other people are to blame as well.

Starseed, GGG, and GP_Matt wanted to give RatherDashing a chance to speak. For that reason I think they are light.

To clarify, I didn't leave the town. My allegiance is and always will be to the town.
I joined a group and don't know if they are aligned with the town or not, but my victory conditions have not changed. I can only win if the town wins.

Remember during the postmortem of the last game when there was discussion regarding this? Stating opinion as fact doesn't help the town. I too would like to hear from GP_Matt regarding his decision to join the Eternals. However, he has already stated that (confirming before joining) his victory conditions (meaning his affiliation with light, assuming he isn't lying) haven't changed. Perhaps he was given an opportunity to gain information/powers, and took it? We all have questions, but let's not jump to conclusions on either side.

Matt and/or Starseed, care to weigh in?

I don't understand his line of thinking, and even if I did I don't believe it. Vote Bowser because Mario and DK were killed? Mazim said that characters don't correlate with alignment. But even if he thinks icons have good powers, why is Bowser considered the next highest icon? And even if he was right, do we want to go after someone with good powers? Wouldn't that be just as likely to be our doctor or cop (assuming role cop wasn't all we had). Puxlut has done nothing shady and you look at the gong show today there was way better reason to vote for everyone else, I don't trust Delgar right now.

Gp matt and now starseed have likely gained some cool power. The game would not be so obvious to announce here is your list of scum.

You could equally assume Gp's actions as he joined this group to gain a power to help the town. We don't know. I prefer to wait for more info.

I am a Canadian citizen, and also a student at the University of Calgary. I didn't have to quit Canada to join the UofC.

Yet all three of them wanted to give a now-known light townie one last chance to speak and use their power.

I should be more clear that I think because of that I'm more inclined to think they are light, GP_Matt has done a lot of other stuff though.

Except he just told us he does not know if the group he joined is aligned with the town so there goes that theory.
