I agree. I don't think he'll make the team to start the year. But he's really moved in the right direction and will be on the team at some point this year. Hopefully he can go down to the AHL and produce (and not be demoralized about it).

Wonder if management and coaching staff are praying that some of the veterans turn up their game? I'm not sure what they could say to players like Gaudreau , Ferland, jooris, Bennett , Byron, Sven and Byron if they are sent down. Their lucky granlund is hurt or he could be added to the list.
There is no way all those players can be added to the opening night roster. Sure posters can say trade so and so, but that's easier said than done.
At least the D and goalie roster spots will be easy for them.

Thank god they don't show the fans during tv timeouts during the regular season. Never before have I missed commercials. It's like one gigantic cliche after the next, and uglier crowd than the reffing in this game!
