No, we wait for him to say "I noted this and that, and you can believe me cause I will be revealed tomorrow as town." Anyone jumping off should immediately be suspected but if RatherDashing is town we will know what he said was true.
While with RatherDashing it makes less sense as he's been so inactive, giving everyone one last chance to post their honest thoughts seems like a good idea.

But we waited with Matt, then he gave the most obvious and expected explanation and it caused some mass scrambling over the past few hours. If this happens at night (in the real world), too many people are off with their families, etc. and we might not be able to coordinate anything.
I didn't move over from Matt as quickly as I wanted to avoid a potential no-lynch. Now that that is no longer a possibility, I'll change over too.

Just caught up with the thread, and I agree that RD is a better vote that GP so I will switch.
We are at 10 though, so no real rush in hammering.
RD, any thing you want to say or ability you would like to use?

I'm not suggesting giving him a chance to defend himself. At this point I think the 11 voters should remain voting for him regardless of what he says.
However, if he is town and maybe more active than he appears he might have noticed something that he didn't want to bring up earlier. In that case a final "I didn't want to say this earlier because it would have just looked like I was deflecting suspicions but I noticed so-and-so did this suspicious activity now that I'm going to be dead and revealed as town in 10 minutes you can believe me for the next day."
It's less important for today's vote, but I do think everyone should get their final say before being lynched.

I agree, but that would have been the same regardless.
A flip for mafia of either of the two should result in the other being lynched. A town reveal proves nothing about the other person though.

At this point, I am more concerned that everyone who is town be able to use their ability to best impact the game for the town. As we progress past today, we should be more worried about what people have to say, though.
So RatherDashing, you can either use your ability in a manner which will benefit the town or die in silence, especially if your ability won't do much in terms of helping us.

Of course it doesn't, but it removes the potential that he knew RD was going to have wifi in the evening as obtained through the scum communication channel.
It puts him back on the same footing as everyone else, which is we really have no idea.
