If I am mafia GP Matt I have a few options

-claim cop or doctor
-claim twins
-go with the in real life excuse

He also hasn't revealed an ability yet which means it could be really good or he doesn't have one. The fact he didn't disclose it means if he has one its worth protecting

That said of Gp's 3 options to try to move the vote off him what he did is probably the best mafia lie as every statement he made can be true regardless of if he is mafia or town.

I started voting for him because in a game of informed vs uninformed any one with extra info is suspicious. GP matt had extra info and therefore increases suspicion.

In this game people are going to the real life excuse lots. Now that's likely to be true in a lot of cases but of the people claiming real life issues some have to be being used as cover.

I think GP is still best.

Can someone give me a summary of the squiggs logic?

I am in favour of lynching someone who is not contributing. Silence is the same as darkness in my mind. Quiet people allow the mafia to hide. If we get rid of those who don't post then mafia will have no excuse but to post and start leaving a trail that we can follow.

This has just gotten weirder.

Matt's reply does read as sort of believable but the fact that Rather Dashing has come out of nowhere suddenly also seems odd. Nothing for 3 days, Matt gives an answer for what he posted and RD shows up an hour later to defend they know each other. This could just be alot of coincidences though.

We waited a day where nothing happened and now in the last hour things have gone almost upside down.

Also if there is a desire to vote someone else we need to leave 8 votes on gp until there is 8 on someone else so their is never a no lynch possibility

Marin how are ties resolved if it is 8-8 at the deadline

Here is my squiggs logic back from a few days ago. I think the theory still holds true, but the case against Matt is more compelling to me, so that's where my vote sits.

I don't hate the squiggs move either, just worried we are not mobile enough to get it done properly and avoid a no lynch.

I guess I can buy into the squiggs vote, but it hasn't caught on over the last few days and it might be tough getting enough votes now in the dying hours

at this point my votes good for anything, I just don't want to miss a lunch on day 1, that's the worst outcome here

I'm probably going to vote Matt if nothing changes

So if we voted RD and he flips town, we would know that GP may be town with a power and we would try to protect him. But if the scum know that as well too, they will be sure to kill him right after.

Unless we have a doctor that could protect him (assuming we have a doctor? that what he does, right?)

I agree with this. The only issue is getting enough on board and having a no-lynch.

Right now I think RatherDashing or GP_Matt need to be lynched, but I see more benefit, or rather less downside, in lynching RatherDashing if he's going to be away for the next 'day' anyways.

Unvote

my head hurts. No idea what's best at this point ... I'm keeping my vote for now but I also wouldn't mind switching to RD

also something I've noticed: hmmhmmcamo has gone very quiet. He posted absolutely nothing yesterday, and that really wasn't an uneventful day at all

I think RD is a good vote. Tells us everything a Matt Lynch would, and he's not contributing a and I'm not sure when he's going to be around to

vote: RatherDashing

I am happy to switch my vote to either Rather or Squiggs.

Neither are contributing much. Friendship aside, this is a serious game and voting for Rather has a chance of killing mafia which is better than the sure thing that I am not mafia (from my perspective)

To move this game forward we need to eliminate those who are not contributing.

I'm on board for GP or Dashing. Should the town want to swap GP for Dashing, I will lend my vote there.

I think RD is a better vote than GP_Matt as it has developed at this point.
Things are very convoluted right now.
I am going to unvote Matt
But I am going to hold on my vote for now
If need be I can cast a hammer vote on
RD
Unvote

At this point, if you are going to unvote, you should re-vote for someone else. We will be in more trouble otherwise.

What a mess...what about the ones who have not voted yet but just seem to be lying in the weeds. Who has not voted yet throughout this first day? Anyone?

I'm fine with switching to RD, basically accomplishes the same goal while losing the less active poster. Hopefully the discussion and voting history we have seen helps us in the future.

Unvote

Vote: RatherDashing

It looks like the non-voters through the entirety of Day 1 are:

hmmhmmcamo
RatherDashing

Wood, RatherDashing, Hmmhmmcamo

Wood has at least stated his intention to vote, true or not. RatherDashing has been avoiding, Hmmhmmcamo is on the radar I'd say.

I agree voting RD tells us more than voting GP_Matt, so I'd jump on that train.
