Setoguchi
Guys on the bubble: Ferland, Baertschi, Gaudreau, Granlund, Bennett, Baertschi, Reinhart, Arnold, Knight, Jooris
I would bet the only change is one of Setoguchi or Jones is sent to the AHL and one of Ferland or Baertschi takes his spot. Plus you get a second young guy since at least one player will be injured to start the year.

The main thing in Gaudreau/Bennett and/or Sven's favour is that line-up is going to struggle to score. Besides Hudler and maybe Backlund, you really don't have a ton of players who can carry the puck and hold possession for you.

Bennett likely makes it over Gaudreau. Better camp.
Gaudreau could really use a season in the AHL.

Really odd conclusions to draw on two and three games respectively.
It's far more likely and prudent that Bennett spends another year in junior over Gaudreau spending the entire season in the AHL.

Have we been watching the same pre-season? Despite not registering on the score sheet his last few games, Gaudreau has been great. Always creating offense and at least average defensively. Not to say Bennett hasn't had a great camp also, but I definitely wouldn't say Johnny "could really use a season in the AHL."

I think some are taking that game in Colorado where hardly anyone saw a little to serious in regards to Gaudreau.

I'll put my money on Sven and Ferland making the team.

A cup of coffee in the AHL? Isn't presence in the AHL an automatic banquet burger?
Man I hope that phrase dies

I would expect to see Bennett and Klimchuk returned to junior, Gaudreau, Baertschi, Arnold, Jooris and Knight head to the AHL, and see Reinhart, Granlund and Ferland make the team. Seems like this team is going to have a very specific flavor this season, the latter guys seem to fit the most. Hopefully this is a transition year and we see some injuries or trades half way through the year and Gaudreau and Baertschi are promoted then.

I'm guessing Reinhart, Knight and Arnold. Possibly Baertschi as well.
on D its about time for Seiloff and Yonkman, Kulak should go down as well but maybe plays a couple more games.

Reinhart, Acolaste for sure. I'm not sure about Arnold or Jooris just yet, they may get it be more game or at the very least the coaches will want to keep them a little longer.

I think Jooris stays up as long as Setoguci and Jones are injured.
Sadly for the Flames he is their best option for a right shooting RW right now.

I agree with everything you said except Jooris should make it before Reinhart at this point.

I like what I've seen from Jooris. Much like Ferland, he's made a strong case through both the rookie tournament and preseason.
