Do it. Even if he is town he could not even be bothered to come in here and explain himself.

I think the answer now regardless of reason or power is to lynch. There is just too many things to explain. The original post and now the time gap. Trust will never be there again. That said I think we should still give him his pre death post.

good call. Definitely not later though, he'd had more than enough time already.

Also suspicious is RD didn't post either with his WiFi connection he allegedly has in the evenings. So neither of them have posted any explanation.

How do you know about his cell service? Or that he might have better Wi-Fi in the evening?
Here are his two posts both about the leave and afterwards. Nothing that specific was mentioned.

I just know him personally. I can't prove it, but he is a friend in my profile.

I think we are lynching you anyway. Any exciting ability you wish to share before you go.

That is a bit of a letdown after all the speculation. Might as well give him until noon to make a pre-death post, but otherwise I'd say might as well pull the trigger.

The problem is I'm as confused as ever. He flips town or mafia, I'm not sure how to look at those who voted for him. Everyone has an excuse if he's town, if he's mafia, some probably fed him to the wolves for his error.

Wow, I just caught up with the thread and let me tell you it was a real nail biter and had me on the edge of my seat.
I think I owe you guys a few explanations so I will start posting and answer any questions that arise to cover what I have missed.
As was posted in a previous thread I have been promoted and transferred to Edmonton. Yesterday was the old managers last day so I spent most of the day in meetings and the last one turned into an informal retirement party at the pub which turned into a long night away from my computer. Imagine my surprise when I come into work and log into CP slightly hungover and start reading about my imminent death.
As for Rather Dashing, he is away on a climbing trip in the states. Knowing that, I assumed that while out he will have his phone but will not likely be checking CP due to the high data roaming charges but most hotels have free wifi so I figured he would check in at night.
As for an in game link between the two of us there is none. We have not discussed the game at all other than my encouraging him to sign up.
With that in mind, I do not know if he is mafia so my biggest concern is if you guys decide to lynch me. When I flip town please do not read into the link between us and trust him more than you otherwise would. He may be town but he may also be mafia.

Also, thank you for the patience. If you are going to lynch me please allow me the opportunity to post my theories. (Knowing full well that theories are pretty rough at this point but I have taken a few notes.)

Going to Edmonton is never a promotion, so that's at least one lie.

I see no reason to change my vote to GP_Matt. I will leave mine at GGG for now.

I've always been suspicious of the GP_Matt pile on, so I won't be the one to drop the hammer. I believe him but can't fault the group if we lynch him, it would take a pretty serious change in attitude to get another candidate lynched.
We're now under a serious time restraint. At a minimum we have to have enough votes on one player to ensure a lynch occurs. Sorry squiggs, but my vote is sticking on you for now.
I'll move my vote to help make a consensus from squiggs to someone else if it makes sense, but I won't be part of the GP_Matt lynch.

Dang it's plausible... I don't know what to do now.
It would be a lot simpler if you gave us a Capt. Crunch epic reveal.

I don't know what other choice we have at this point. Our worst case scenario is no lynch.
