I got a chance to hold an iPhone 6 this morning, while I'm still not crazy about the larger screen size, it does have a solid feel in the hand.

I've said before that the iPhone 5 "felt" cheap due to it's lightness, but the 6 restores the "solid" feel I associate with iPhones.

Weight aside the screen is quite nice, and I'm honestly a big fan of the rounded edge on the glass. Still not enough to jump at a new one, but lots of folks will be quite happy with the new phones.

Using that with www.pineapplenetworks.com/iphone/ab

It worked out great, I got the only 64 grey plus in Calgary since Thursday nights shipment.

I ordered from Apple that the phone was shipped in one day. You have to wait a week to receive it as it was routed througth China though.

I think we should see some shipments get larger in the next week or so. Now that China is getting the phone shortly the scalping should drop to almost nothing. A lot of people who ordered the first night have been getting shipment notices, and those units should be arriving this week and next.

Switched back to the Apple keyboard, can't even do dictation with SwiftKey (unsure if it's just because it's early or if it's because Apple didn't give them API access).

Managed to reserve an iPhone 6 and will be picking it up today. I currently have a 4S and I understand the SIM size is different. Any ideas what the process is to activate the new SIM card? I am with Rogers if that makes a difference.

They just put a new sim in your card and do some typing on their system and in a few minutes it's switched, that was Fido I assume it's the same.

I've only had mine since yesterday, but my issue is that it is difficult to work with only one hand. The previous iphones were a size that made it easy for your thumb to navigate around the entire screen while still supporting the bottom with your little finger. I can see myself possibly dropping this one more often.

I've had my 6 for 2 weeks now. Last night I was setting up a 5 for my son and it felt tiny in my hand. I don't think I could ever go back now.

I downloaded SwiftKey and Swype, I love the idea but they are buggy as heck. Kept hanging on me, disappearing, swiping would magically stop.

Hopefully the keyboards get a bit more stable soon, as swiping is a really great feature to have.

So for those of you who have had your 6/6+ for a couple weeks, can you give us a bit of a updated review? Whats awesome, what's annoying, etc. And for the 6, I am particularly interested in knowing about battery life experience.

Battery life is awesome, it's almost bad because it's so long I forget to charge it! Been almost two days since my last full charge and I'm at 47%, sees less use during the week though.

I'll echo what photon said, its now been 36hrs with reasonable usage ( 4 hrs music, 2 hrs surfint, 30 min phone calls, maybe 30 texts and random) and my battery is at 64%.

Going from the 5 to the 6, I was usually looking to plug in my 5 by the time I got home from work; as I would be down to around 30%. Now I get home and I'm closer to 60%, and even with some evening use I'm still at 40% by the end of the day.

Granted that is comparing a 2 year old phone to a new one as well, but the improvement is still there. The one thing I noticed was Netflix took a bigger toll that what I expected; however that was only one day that I was on the train, so could have been other factors as well.
