Playcalling has been mystifying, QB play bad. Just as importantly the Riders need a middle linebacker or Cornish is going to run for 300+. Sunseri improved last week but regressed this week. Just ugly football all around. Credit to Edmonton, they took it to them.

No, he really didn't. He played Ottawa last week, by far the worst team in the league, and almost lost (and really should have if not for two blown calls on a punt).

The Riders were smoke and mirrors to get to their 9 wins and are now being exposed. They would likely be losing games with Durant in as they have the worst passing offence in the league... Yes even worse than Ottawa. Losing Durant certainly doesn't help, but this isn't a great team. They should fluke into the playoffs thanks to the incredibly weak east, but they are one and done.

Agreed - Sunseri's stats was extremely padded against Ottawa by YAK yards from Riders receivers rambling for big time yards from dump passes into the flat. It was pretty amusing to read how many posters on RF.com thought the Riders would win last night in Commonwealth by double digits. You knew that Chris Jones would be sending heat as often as he could against the young QBs of the Riders.

Kuale didn't have to pull Collaros for horse collar penalty. He was surrounded by 3 or 4 defenders. Luckily for Bombers that penalty didn't cost them anything.

Jock Climie and Matt Dunigan thinks the Eastern teams can be competitive against the Western team, while Schultzie disagrees. I go with Schultzie on this one and have to say Climie and Dunigan better stop smoking drugs to think any of this Eastern team can compete with the Western team up until the Grey Cup.

I didn't think Ottawa is willing to trade Burris anyways. If they ever trade Burris to Riders, I am thinking they should get an establish receiver and an OLine or veteran defensive player. I don't think Riders will be willing to get rid of any of their receivers now that Taj Smith is injured.

He's a dissapointment with Riders this season. His play just fell off this season compare to last season. Getzlaf too hasn't been good.. maybe that PI challenge rule is affecting his play.

Wow, I didn't think it was that serious at first. I know one guy fell off and rolled his ankle. Too bad for him as he is having a good season so far. Good luck on him I guess.

Most people seem to believe Getzlaf has been playing hurt this year and that's what has been affecting his play. Either way he hasn't been good enough and his drops are killing drives.

Considering he turns 30 in just over a month, I'd say that's doubtful. Especially in this "dime a dozen" mindset NFL management has towards RB's the past few seasons. I don't foresee him leaving the CFL until he decides to hang em up.
