Clearly none of those 3 have any sort of chance at starting with the big team. Might as well get them acclimatized to Addy as soon as possible.

Raymond is day-to-day, most likely nothing that would keep him out in the regular season.

Smid had a tooth infection, had 5 teeth pulled yesterday, so nothing too serious long-term there but sounds like they were worried it could have become septic? (Millions tweet said staph infection, which is what I think he meant when he said staph).

That's a bit pessimistic. There are only three true prospects left on D, so he's not that far down the depth chart

Probably not going to make the team out of camp but very likely to see injury action later. No harm keeping them up a bit longer and reward them for having good camps
