A glass screen protector would do you good then. Those will dissipate the forces against the glass and still feel nice. Case may also help haha

Alright. No more waiting for AWOL people for me... didn't have trouble with the last twelve I sent out. I have one, maybe two invites up for claims. First come, first serve PM w/ their email gets the invite. This can be for yourself, friends or family... anyone.
I'm seeing a lot more interest at work and other places for OPO w/ the Shamu leaks being what they are now. Guessing not too many people interested because of size.

ordered my case but may not come for a month. How is the sandstone coating if you take it in and out of your pockets every now and than if I don't have the case just yet? Does it wear off easily? I really want to use the phone at this very moment but afraid that the coating may wear off. I wonder if any of the phone stores here in calgary would have anything for the 1+.

No one in Calgary carries accessories for the OnePlus One. Trust me. Why? Because none of the telcos carry the phone.
Online is the only place you'll find stuff.
As for the backing, there are cases of people saying it peels or rubs off. But the cases are so few and far between.

Mine has held up fine for the last three months. The only place where the coating has come off was when I dropped my phone once onto my kitchen floor and the coating came off.
One annoying thing is the coating picks up skin and files my finger nails every so often leaving a white residue that I need to wipe off.
No phone stores I know carry accessories in Calgary as it's not a telco phone. I had bunch of phone store employees asking to inspect and molest my phone (before asking for an invite lol) though when I went into check them out for stuff, like it was a mythical unicorn or something a couple of months ago. Aliexpress, ebay and amazon will likely be your best bets for accessories, common on all three. Aliexpress has the best selection and is cheapest, but slow ship from China. Ebay, Amazon are faster but more expensive and less selection.
