Bush "seems" to have made a differance because of the most recent debate.

This may have to do with his faux pas of bringing Cheneys daughter into the conversation.....a lot of people considered that going over the line.

In this one poll at least, he seems to be gaining back the 5% or so who went to Kerry after the first debate.

But the brushing aside of Osama as "not a threat" sorta goes by the wayside. The rest of the world sighs.......

Edit: Posted about the electoral votes, how Bush was up 302 to 207, but then realized that they where talking about popular vote.

Im just relaying what i am hearing among the general public around here.

I was at a team function last night, and while eating supper before the festivities started, the subject of the debate came up and this one topic dominated the conversation among about 10 guys.

If I was to guess...it was 7 dems and 3 republicans, and every one of them were critical of Kerry bringing Cheneys daughter in the manner he did. Im not surprised as i sort of cringed when it happened as well.

I doubt it would swing votes among decided voters, but this is the exact kind of thing that can hurt guys in an extremely tight race such as this one.

Believe it or not, Iraq is not the ony thing voters are concerning themselves with.

Dont shoot me, im just the messenger.

Fraud and intimidation alleged in key states
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselect...istration_x.htm

More than two weeks before the presidential election, Democrats and Republicans in key states are trading accusations of fraud and voter intimidation, foreshadowing an Election Day on which lawyers may be almost as important as voters.
Complaints from both parties, routine in election years, have reached a fever pitch earlier and in more places than usual. From Oregon to Florida, shenanigans with voter registration forms are being alleged, and authorities are looking into the charges.
