Yeah, he admitted as much in the post tournament conference. Said it had a trajectory of 30ft less than he intended and went left 15 yds more than planned.

Mike Weir missed the cut and misses the Fedex Cup playoffs but he keeps his card for next year.
Quote:
The top 125 in the FedExCup qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, while the top 125 in either the FedExCup or the money list retain playing privileges for 2014-15.
|
So Weir is projected at 138 in the Fed Ex, but is at 98 on the money list.

Brad Fritsche in 2nd place going into the final round.
When he gets hot, he can rattle of a tonne of birdies. But he has a tendency to toss it away.
Ok starting round, unreal 63 in round 2, and surprisingly followed up with a 65 Saturday.
The round 2 63 also included missed putts under 10 feet and 3 around 20. It could have been a 60 had his putter got hot.
No idea what to expect today, but I'll be following closely.

What the heck happened to DeLeat today?
He was +1 after 10, then blew up and ended at +7. Dead last (as of right now).

Hadwin had an awesome year and gets the number one seed, which will get him into nearly every non-major tournament. My money is on him to be the next Canadian to win on tour.
Pretty sure Weir will still have full exempt status too.

If Delaet can't figure out how to putt he won't be on the tour much longer.

He's a top 40 player in WGR, Money and Fed ex cup points. He is in no danger of being off the tour any time soon. I could buy a statement like "He'll never win on tour unless he figures out his putting", but he is pretty safe to continue playing with 7 top ten finishes this year.

With De Laet's tee to green game, if he could ever figure out his putting he could be top 5 in the world.

Hearn will win on tour before Delaet will.
Stats don't lie and every tournament ends with a putt.
