I just ate up the whole 6 hour EA Access trial and have come away impressed. At first the game felt "clunkier" and less responsive than 14, but it didn't take me long to realize that the players simply feel weightier than last year and that the physics have taken yet another step to the next level. The interactions of players with other players, players with the ball, and even the ball with the pitch itself are all drenched in such realism.

Players of the series will obviously be right at home with minimal adjustment, but the game's been tweaked enough that it feels upgraded and fresh.

the individual player instructions adds so much to the game. love playing around with them in the demo. giving aguero the green light for runs, and ibra to play to get the ball at feet and play with his power is amazing,

What exactly does the league do?

I have the game pre-ordered but not sure I can commit the time needed to actually be a good member of the league.

it wont be a huge time waster supermatt, we will be playing a home and home series vs all members in the league. so if 10 people join that means 18 games total to play, and likely well space that out over a month or two at least. not a huge commitment

thats a good idea lego. we could draft teams and keep a table online.

Reviews starting to trickle in, and many aren't as positive as I thought. Even IGN, the lovers of all things, gave it an 8.3. Criticisms seem to center around there being changes for the sake of changes, frustrating AI at times (particularly with the goalies), and a couple other odds and ends.

I played a game after installing last night and think it's awesome. Maybe a more rabid fan of soccer could pick out these various faults, but I think Fifa's just been so good for so long that the counter culture is beginning to take hold and take issue with more aspects of the game.

I'm interested to get CP's take on 15 versus 14.

Edit: Maybe "not as positive as I thought" is a bit too strong. Game still seems to be getting great reviews (has "great" from Gamespot, with an 8), but with IGN specifically I guess I was expecting something closer to 9. Anyway...this doesn't matter.
