Hartley stated last year that he still wants Colborne to play center, and he moved him to wing only due to space issues. He wouldn't commit to saying that he saw Colborne as a winger or a center yet. Though Colborne did do better as a winger, he may just end up being a very good center. I am glad that they are trying him out there again.

Who will be calling the games or is it just the arena feed?

Thought I read on this site over the summer someone in management say they prefer him at the center position. Maybe during a season ticket holder event, or end of season interview but I thought it was posted on here somewhere.

I think I'm just going to watch the game in Calgary. I've tried watching split squad games on two monitors before, and it felt like I wasn't seeing anything.

I think we win the game here and lose the game in Edmonton.

6-2 Flames in Calgary.

4-0 Oilers in Edmonton.

We lose here, but win in Edmonton due to a David Jones hat trick. CP is offline for hours due to the traffic surge.

I've spent the last few hours calculating mean average scores between the two teams, and have concluded tonight's games will both be 8-1 victories for the Flames.

Kinda disappointed by this. Two power forwards not dressed? They hurt?

Predictions tonight?.................Pain..................

I think Calgary loses both games, yet abuse the oilers badly in scraps and hitting. Gaudreau survives, yet he is still cheap shotted.

After the game the fans want blood, BOA is re kindled.

If its a boring game I will go down to either rink and scrap with wolf, just to make sure someone gets their butt kicked ( don't hold me to that statement ).

I would also appreciate a PM if anyone knows a reliable way to get these games outside of Alberta.

The Flames site is streaming them aren't they? I don't see why they wouldn't be available to those outside of AB.

I agree. I'd probably be watching that one if I wasn't going to the game. Wanted to see McDonald, Granlund and Ortio.

Instead of a split squad vs Edmonton to focus on for competition - it turns into a fierce competition between Flames teams on "Who can score more goals vs the Oilers".

"Ah damn Staj, Johnny just lit them up again. Let's try and bang two in before the period ends so we can even things up with the home squad."

Very excited to see Gaudreau's first game in Calgary. Pre-season or not, that's pretty cool.
