Ya it's looking like a No win... only way I could see it swinging is if something dramatic happens in Edinburgh. Of the remaining big population counties only Highlands and Glasgow were considered likely Yes counties. North and South Lanarkshire and Aberdeenshire were all predicted to be small wash margins and Edinburgh and Fife no wins.

Not to mention the controversy of votes being tossed out, allegations of fraud etc... it was pretty crazy.

You should get Chantal Heberts new book The Morning After
http://www.amazon.ca/Morning-After-Q...1098359&sr=1-1
She interviewed everyone involved that night.

Glasgow results should be out soon. That will make or break the yes camp.

Slight Yes win in North Lanarkshire, slightly larger No win in the South. Two large counts in, and Yes fails to make any headway.

They are the future so their say should matter. I've it mentioned that Scotland has a difficult time maintaining the younger population within the country currently.

And its over. Only 30k margin in Glasgow. Edinb'h going NO seals the deal.
53% in Glasgow, poll numbers were so much higher. Needed 10%+ more than that.

Looks like all hope is gone for yes unless something crazy happens in Edinburgh and Fife.

Correct, but the only place something crazy was feasible was Glasgow, and played out like the rest of the evening.

wow they're slow, how does it take 7 hours to count 80000 votes? These little areas are coming in after Glasgow!

Imagine how slow things would've gotten if they'd left the UK...
