the bbc needs to get this lady off of the panel. She's brutal.

The more she keeps talking over and copping attitude the more I'm hoping that Yes starts winning.

There she goes again. She is the first to complain about people interrupting her but is the first to jump in and interrupt her opponents.

Wow. Pleasently surprised by the outcome this far. Not that my opinion really matters.

good to see a country decide things on their own instead of what we've been seeing in eastern Ukraine

Exactly. Though the situations can't be compared, this demonstrates that there is a way to have a democratic determination about being a country. That this vote is taking place at all is a major achievement.

agreed. Scotland has set a very good example in how democracy can work regardless of the outcome.

Only 4 tiny constituencies have been declared so far. Not looking great but way too early to tell.

I would love to see this result in significant political change in terms of devolved powers (as has been "vowed" by the 3 main parties) but I expect some severe backtracking over the next few weeks and months. If that is a case, then there will be a lot of "well, you got what you wished for" from the Yes vote when Scotland continues to get treated with disdain by London over the next 10 years.

This has never been about Scottish people v English people. It's about Scottish people versus an England focused and dominated political system
