I hope the Flames keep Hathaway. Has been very noticeable. Even as an AHL depth guy, he seems to be very good in comparison to a guy like Eddy.

Carroll was in tough to pot that one, needs better hands but really great hustle to keep up with Gaudreau and Bennett.

Canucks need to get a penalty for the repeated high sticking after that play. Just ridiculous. Control your damn stick.

wow what a goal by Ferland, such a smart player, going to the dirty places to clean up garbage, tipping goals in-front of the net, mucking it up in the corners. He is a power forward through and through, I can't wait to see him progress this year!

Goddam it, what I wouldn't kill for to see Iginla and Gaudreau at the same time in their prime. It could have been the second coming of Hull and Oates.

Am I crazy or did Ferland only have 1 goal coming into tonight? The Canucks guy keeps insisting Ferland has 1 more goal than I remember.
The stats say he did have 2, so maybe I'm just forgetting 1.
