He's had a hard time offensively this tournament but he is doing all the little things right and plays a mature game. I don't hate what I see from him on the defensive side of the puck, he looks composed out there just needs to find some offense. I think a year in the AHL goes a long way for him, does he start there next year guys?? Or one more year in the dub?

Nothing directly
1) Highly touted Canucks pick
2) Flashy, cocky guy
3) Calgary boy that said he didn't want to play for Calgary and want a Calgary fan
4) Typical home town stories of "that famous guy was a jerk growing up"

It's because he's a cocky prick. His interview skills dropped him more than a few spots in the draft.

CHL'ers born in 1995/1996 cant play in the AHL until there CHL team is eliminated.
Poirier was born in 1994, so he can play in the AHL this year.

My younger brother and sister went to highschool with him. He's a prick. I've heard a lot. Hockey players from the Hat have #### attitudes because small town and the players are looked upon If the they are NHL players does not help. Etem was another example.

When he improves his skating and balance and put some meat on that 210 lb frame he will be more intimidating. Work on his skills and he might be a good project.
