Are we going to have the streaming debacle of last year with simultaneous games? That was so disorganized, but then again, they were dealing with post flood tech issues, apparently.

I hope both are covered in some capacity. If ones on TV, maybe I'll pvr it and stream the other live.

Did I read that right? Rocky Thompson is an assistant coach for the oilers now?

Way off topic, but can you imagine Smith's beard when we go on a playoff run?

We could probably hide Johnny in there.

Man I hope Smith turns into an NHLer. He sure seems to embrace and actually love playing a physical role. After that monster open ice hit he looked like a kid waiting to open his presents at Christmas when he was waiting for the Oiler to get up.

He can skate pretty good for kid who's 6'7" and just turned 19. 2-3 years to fill out and improve yet, by that time he should be 230+. A guy that size who can skate and loves the physical play would be an absolute menace on the 3rd or 4th line.

I see no reason why he wouldn't make it as an NHLer. He's got all the physical tools he needs. It's just a matter of finding out if he's destined for top 9 duties or if he's limited to a rock-em-sock-em role. He's showing a lot of promise in this tournament, though. He looks a lot better out than there than I expected and I think the sky (in Hunter's case the sky is the 2nd line) is the limit.

Ramage is wearing one as well in the images right below your post...so I guess they're moving them around, game-to-game.

If this tournament has been any indication, Addy's going to have a wonderful and relentless bottom 6 with Carroll, Hathaway, Elson, Agostino, Van Brabant and Jooris.

And funny. Somebody else agreed with me in this thread. Not alone in this thought perhaps.

This is a forum, where people can share opinions. You didn't address what you thought of my statement, just me as a poster.

So once again, I wasn't the one to blow this out of proportion, rather you when you made it personal.
Let it go already. One poster agreed with you and everyone else doesn't. It's not about you every ####ing game.

You're bringing up an argument that was dropped pages ago. Let it go already.

Not sure if anyone caught Bennett's comments after the game last night, or if it has already been posted. Gaudreau, Connor McDavid comparisons by Sam Bennett.

Watched some Connor McDavid highlight and video here, thought the comparisons were fair although Connor seems to quarterback the play a bit more.

I think Sam was talking more about how Johnny is capable of making some incredible plays that McDavid can't. I would guess it's more about complimenting his skill/stickwork than comparing the two as players. If you watch the Bennett interview on the flames site it was clearly just an offhand remark.

I really liked Padakins game last night too. I'm still hoping for him to earn a contract with the Flames. Who could always use a solid Pk'er with speed and skill on the right side with a RH shot. Absolutely no harm in dishing out an ELC to him.

Well, since you brought it back up, I agree with him on this issue 100%.

The tongue wagging in the face of an opponent after a fight is complete WWE BS. I don't want to see any Flame at any level doing it.
