I agree with your Oiler fan friend. Unless Gaudreau starts doing some useless spinoramas at centre ice on a shootout, he's not going to amount to much.

No Granlund though? Management convinced that they've seen all they need too for now? Definitely looks like our most NHL ready prospect.

Just got home from work and there's hockey tonight. Life is good again.
Is this kind of tourney really for a player like Granlund? Granlund is 21 with a full season in the AHL. I don't really see how sending him to a tryout with teenagers is really fitting. Whether he makes the Flames or not is another questions, but Granlund already has solidified a spot within the organization at the AHL level.

I tried yesterday but the live stream wasn't showing up on the youtube channel. I ended up just using Airplay and it was pretty smooth, not the best but doable.

The streams are live, and again the flames.nhl.com stream is about 10 seconds ahead of the YouTube one FYI.

No Nurse or Draisaitl for the Oilers tonight.

Granlund out.

Also, Steinberg looks disinterested in being with Principe in the press box.

Ewanyk and Ferland apparently had some words during warmup.

Nah, lets stick with this one.

Great little lead pass by the RD there for the Flames.

Great shifts back to back, made a full line change and kept possession and generated a few good chances.

Elson with a nice little slapper to finish it off too.

Good pressure early, just don't warm up their goalie too much

Padakin looks good on his first shift out there. Him and Klimchuk could get some chemistry going here.

Flames PP coming up as the top line, and Bennett specifically, generates a penalty.

Bennett and Gaudreau with a neat little give and go for a chance.

Bennett almost walks the Oilers D right after.
