Aaron Vickers @AAVickers
Fishing for lines, but looks like Bennett and Klimchuk will be paired together today. #Flames #YoungStars

Ferland, Jooris and Granlund may be a trio, too. #Flames #YoungStars

I bet it is because you live near mountains, and not so close to the Pacific. Consider yourself "unthanked" for providing such disappointingly false information

Besides the usual suspects I am really interested to see how Sieloff and Ferland play. Two guys it seems people are forgetting about. I see both as having a very good shot of playing on the big club this year. Lots of potential in Penticton this morning.

I really want to see if Ferland is ready to take the next steps. It just seems that he's stalled a bit and he's a really intriguing prospect.

I'm really excited to see if Ferland can take advantage of his lost pounds. He was pretty quick for his size to begin with.

Pretty sure Ferland was lighting it up on Granlunds line before he went down. I'm glad they are paired together and expect them to get on the scoresheet today.

Gaudreau burns the score clock out, uses a whole pad of score sheets and celebrates with a Skittle shower at games end.

Work begins immediatly on the Skittles capacity of Lord Stanley.

GFG.

It doesn't matter boys. Listening to Edmonton radio this morning the other teams may as well not even show up to this tournament because Edmonton is bringing the bullets this year. ROFL!! Don't they ever learn up there? Maybe if the media wouldn't hype the #### out of the team before they have ever set a skate on the ice, then the inevitable thud back to earth wouldn't be so embarrassing.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Looks like #Flames will have names like Gaudreau, Bennett, and Arnold tonight. Ehlers, Petan, and Morrissey will play for the Jets.

All the teams are doing that (well, the Canucks are missing most of their major prospects, so not as much)

Jets media on Twitter were mentioning the Calder finalist AHLers were going to be the more experienced group (couldn't really find more than two actual AHL players). Oilers are bigger than all the other teams and should manhandle them (Hint: they aren't the biggest team in Penticton by a fair bit). Calgary is going to blow the socks off of everyone with their skilled guys (I find this a reasonable assertion)

I disagree about Ferland stalling. He was playing his best pro hockey ever and was very close to earning a call up before his season ending injury. If he can get back to that form, I could see him in the mix for a roster spot/one of the first call ups.

Gaudreau / Bennett vs. Ehlers / Petan... the amount of young talent on the ice is gonna be awesome to watch.

This should be a slaughter, 9-1 Flames, Gaudreau with 4 goals and 3 assists.

Agreed. The Canucks and Oilers lineups don't look too impressive to me, but the Jets brought some talent.

The Oilers likely have the biggest prospects who are going to play in top roles. Guys Like Draisaitl, Nurse, Yakimov, Khaira etc. will be playing top line minutes so I don't think its unfair to call them bigger.
