We are playing on the inferior Xbox 360 but if that is all you have I recommend picking it up as its only graphical differences and not game breaking.

Love the higher than normal difficulty level. You really have to earn some of these missions. Don't love the repetitiveness of the missions and enemies.

I hate how cheesy the game is with the difficulty though. Almost every time I die it's because a group of enemies popped out right next to me or behind me, and when I replay that section it becomes very easy since I know where the enemies will spawn from. The worst is getting bum rushed by those cloaked fallen, if you don't know when they're triggered to show up and are busy fighting other guys they take you really quick.

We can play together, as long as it's an easier mission. I only went in there after I was unsuccessful getting someone to join me. I got my ass kicked in the Weekly Earth Strike, lol. Trying to solo that was impossible. I look forward to tackling it again with a fireteam!

Oh and I realize that I'm a noob and all that, but how exactly are you supposed to improve in the multiplayer portion when every time I see someone it's almost instant death? They either have a shotgun, a fusion rifle, or their ability ready and I end up getting one shotted. Very un-fun

Iron Banner is coming, which eliminates all level and gear upgrades, creating an equal playing field for all combatants. It was quite fun in the beta.

Yeah it's a little heavy handed in that you will be fighting life and death against an incredibly tough boss and all of a sudden a bunch of enemies will spawn behind or to the side of you that you can't see until they are already on your ass and you are totally overwhelmed.

This is actually part of what makes it so damn epic. Getting out of those situations and recovering through sheer will and determination makes me feel one with the matrix.

I love this game.

Well it can get annoying when you have spent 20 minutes getting a boss life bar down below 10% only to be ambushed by something you never saw coming and have to start the whole thing over.

The current crucible is the one that eliminates level and gear upgrades. Everyone is on an even playing field. That's why a level 10 playing fir the furst time can kill a level 24 with legendary gear, otherwise he wouldn't be able to touch him. Iron Banner is the mode where that is taken out, everyone goes in with their characters as they are.

If you're getting killed really fast all the time, just get better at the game. Find a play style that works for you and stick with it. I had a lot of trouble getting any kills until I switched from auto rifle to scout rifle, now I do okay. Master your grenades, melee a lot, jump around a lot, stick in cover if you can.
