Wanna know how I know you genuinely don't know what you're talking about?

Holy crap, the Rogers prices when purchasing with a 2 year are expensive!!
The reservation site is working on Rogers, but I need to see and hold both before I decide between the 6 and the 6 plus.

Nevermind- the Rogers res page isnt working at all either. My guess is nerds were refreshing the site every 5 seconds all night waiting for it come online.
Looks like I received the email at 3:05am, so it's been up for quite a while.

I'm beyond frustrated with apple. I was up this morning at 1am to pre-order and stayed awake til 3 am refreshing the store and it was down. I tried the Apple app store on my phone and it was down. Now Im getting 3-4 week delivery date. Ridiculous! ..... I know I know first world problems but I was beyond pumped. Kind of bummed now so I probably won't be pre-ordering.

2. The modern day Windows registry can handle millions of entries. Even if you found 200 orphaned registry entries, do you really think they're going to make a lick of difference? Unless they're malicious of course (invoking malware, image hijacks), which brings me back to #2, what exactly are you doing on your machine beyond it being a sedentary HTPC?
Registry cleaning and performance used to be a thing back in the Windows 95/98 days. These days, not so much. Orphaned entries in the Windows registry are ignored. The OS only cares about its own settings, and knows where to find them; it ignores everything else. Similarly, applications are coded to query a specific set of registry keys by their developers; and again, they ignore everything else.
Registry cleaning on the modern Windows operating system is a myth. Your 'monthly registry cleansing' is not doing a thing.

Fido's not doing reservations over the phone either.
Yeah looks like the Canadian price bump is a lot this year. $299US turns into $369 to $379 depending on the carrier. Over 20% premium.
If the Wind coverage in Chestermere didn't suck I might consider switching and buying a phone outright.

US$299 is about $330, I think? Add in the relative affluence and that seems about right
Edit: $379 is then a 15% increase. Plus you could add a bit as the dollar may fall. Seems reasonable to me

The solution is to not download it from the cloud.

Ok guys, I need some help. I realize that the 64gb over the 16 is a no brainer.
However, I'm stuck deciding between the plus and non-plus. How do large phones fit in your pocket? What happens if you break into a run, does the phone bother you? Crouching? Squating? Poop surfing?
Thanks

I've been reading that people have been pre-ordering as new customers fine from Fido's website, but if you log in to pre-order on an existing account it hasn't worked all morning.
If true that would be pretty bad.

Next time I'm in the US, I'll buy one outright and that'll be that.

I went plus based solely on the reviews of people who have large phones. I have never once heard of somebody returning a phone because it's too big – everybody seems to fall in love with them. On top of that, with kids the low light performance in a phone is massively important to me, so the optical image stabilization is a huge feature even if it only makes a bit of a difference. And then there's the battery life. No phone has an original battery after 2 years that lasts longer than a day, so I know the added juice will come in handy down the road.
I do think I'll look ridiculous trying to strap this thing to my arm when I run or something, but I'm a married man... my need to look good for strangers dried up a long time ago.
Due to Apple getting destroyed last night by other losers like me, I ended up staying up until 3 only to snag a preorder for a device that won't ship for a month. Sucks, but getting angry about it won't solve much.

The most you'll have to adjust to with the 6+ is probably using your back pocket and taking it out of the pocket frequently when sitting down/doing things.
That being said, 5.5 is at a great size between increased real estate that you can enjoy and real life handling. Something bigger like 6.4, is much more annoying to handle.
