Default Floor Hockey! I love this sport!

Who else plays it? I have not played for about a year. Am going to start up soon again.

Personally, I love this sport. You don't have to buy hundreds of dollars worth of equipment and the gym rentals are cheaper than the rink rentals.

People here on Calgary Puck should form a group to play, IMHO!

I am a huge floor hockey fan and have been playing for as long as I can remember. A knee injury a few years back has slowed me down but I still enjoy it even if the young punks fly around me now.

I play in two intramural ball hockey leagues at UVic as well as a roller hockey league.

It's definitely a lot of fun and is a good way of blowing off some steam after a long day at school. 15 or 20 bucks for 8-10 games is a great deal.

I hate roller hockey. The lack of control on the "Surface" sucks compared to ice. Not being able to stop on a dime sucks.

So did I. But I hated when you'd have to use a ball instead of the orange puck. I loved when goalies would cheap out on equipment and not wear a jock. I could really fire that puck at a perfect height to get the poor ******* writhing on the ground in pain.

Do you yourself have a penis? I don't imagine you would find it all that fun, and probably wouldn't purposely try to shoot at that perfect height, if you did...

What kind of momma's boy were you in junior high? You'd never take joy in someone else's injury?

This, Bobby, is the belt-line. You never, ever hit below that. Always above. Never below. Cassius Clay never hit below the belt.

I'm sure you could find a team that needs a player. I haven't looked closely at the site, but I'm sure there's a way to get some contact numbers for team captains.

Try the university intermurals league if you want..you don't have to be a student, you can join a team as an individual, and its cheap..we play once a week in the summer league..I think it equates to 13 games overall, including playoffs. Its pretty casual, but not a bad level of play either.

Are you talking about the soccer? I wonder if we have enough interest in here to start CP United? I'd definitely consider playing.
