Roster checks

OK folks.
This is an important task so please read the instructions carefully.
I need everyone to download the latest roster file and check their rosters for accuracy.
This task also ensures that all GMs are up and running with the sim editors.

What I need from each GM, sent in email format is:

- A list of any players missing from your roster. PLEASE NOTE this should only include players you intend to use this season. Since we don't sim AHL games I'm not going to worry about having all the useless guys in the sim. Basically if you have a guy with pro experience (AHL or NHL) last season - they should be showing up on your roster. Guys that are still in juniors or only in Europe - don't care about. If you have ex NHLers who have returned (e.g. Lombardi) they should also appear
- A list of any players on your roster that should not be there

At this stage do NOT send position change requests. That will be a separate task.

Now when I was updating the roster file I noticed that several players had a lower OVR than what was posted earlier this summer. I checked the individual attributes and they were identical - but the OVR shifted. Since contracts were set based on rating, I made the simple step of increasing ALL players in the CPHL by 3 points to their DF rating. This seemed to get everyone to where they should be. If you notice anything funky let me know.

Getting the league file is too old error

I deleted the league file and have downloaded the new one posted above three different time all with the same error.

Editor is version 2.2.5.5

I get that same "too old" error.

I have two players in ECHL who played few games (the other played only 1 game and the other 4 games) in AHL last year, do I have to promote them in my AHL team?

No, you just have to sign them before there is 0 years remaining. Till then you can keep them parked in the ECHL. You can have legit star prospects like MacKinnon in the ECHL for the next two years if that's what you'd like to do.

Running updated SimonT Hockey Simulator Client and this roster file you just posted has loaded successfully for me. Performing the requested roster checks now.

I've heard from several Gms that it is working - if it is working for some it means it can work for everyone.
Make sure you have deleted any trace of the old editor and file.

The Habs roster had some issues. Four (4) guys missing and one guys stats messed up. Email sent to cphltrade@yahoo.com.
