There were couple different US Open matches going on channels today. I'm not a supporter of the 5 feeds but 8:30 in the morning you're not gonna get much anywhere.

How come on Shaw I can only see TSN1, - the others I can hear but the screen is black?

Do you have an older cable box? I know that some of the older ones can't show the channels encoded as MPEG-4. I'm not sure of the technical details, but just throwing that our there as a possibility.

I believe that Shaw advertises that some packages, like NFL Sunday Ticket, for example, require an MPEG-4 cable box. Perhaps the same is true for the new TSN channels?

Edit: It looks like TSN3-5 are MPEG-4. Here is a link to a PDF that shows all of the channels, and also tells you if they're MPEG-4: http://shaw.ca/uploadedFiles/Bundles...V--Calgary.pdf

The multiple feeds are amazing for Tennis. Pretty much every tv court could be broadcasted. It's awesome.

Olympics will be good as well and old people can watch multiple curling matches if they can figure out the guide.

If it isn't costing any more to your cable bill, more feeds can't be bad.

I really hope they start broadcasting AHL games, loved listening to the heat games last year, wasn't really interested in the hundred+ dollar subscription to a webcam feed

If you have a newer Shaw system, check channels 182-186.

This is awesome. Love the tennis feeds and I want some more college football. Hopefully more PAC 12 games.

As I said, newer. It is one of the dumber things Shaw does - depending on what system you have, your HD channels could be replacing their SD equivalents, so there is no consistency in channel locations from one system to the next.

Yah all these channels are not available on Shaw in southern AB.

I had the same problem awhile ago. Your Shaw box is too old. You need a box that can show mpeg4 channels.

For those that aren't getting all of the channels, I wonder if Shaw is doing some form of regional rollout?

Does Telus in Southern Alberta have all 5 feeds? I haven't turned my TV on in a few weeks to look.

Soo... I still don't have these channels... If I wasn't headed to sea in 2 days, I would take the time to call shaw..

But has anyone else experienced this?

I reset my main unit for the shaw gateway, updated the channels and nothing... 236-240 are still non-existant on my guide... Wtf..

Time for a call to Shaw Tech Support then. Try the chat service, it's easiest IMO. Or tweet them, they probably just have to jiggle the cord on their end.

Here is the TSN link which shows the SD and HD channels for most TV systems across Canada. http://www.tsn.ca/feature/?id=124033
