I was going to post something about how it's not cool to name people and their companies on here, but #### that. This scum deserves it.

Your title says suspend, but everything in the article just mention he is on probation, and just has to donate $100,000 and do 1000 hours of community service.

I got to think the backlash and boycott threats this will generate will force them to fire him eventually.

So much has been written about the links between violence to animals and violence to humans. That was some pretty messed up stuff he was doing, and I hope the police are checking into anything he might have done to humans. Some psychiatric counseling is definitely in order.

Can't say I feel sorry for him if he loses his job. Not sure why he felt he could to do that to a dog but this shows that the guy is of poor character. Not the type of person I would want holding an important role in my company.

The video was way too blurred to see what was going on but it appears the dog was definitely kicked or yanked. Of course that is not condonable but all I'm saying is that it had the feeling of being staged by the dog. This dog could be a total lowlife for all we know but he's managed to put up a sympathetic video and receive a lot of $$$ in donations from strangers. IMO there is a little bit of exploitation of shelter dog trash for financial gain going on.

I would normally thank something like that if it was funny but really that was kind of bad.

Doesn't change the fact that it was incredibly lame. If people want to thank an childish post that's their choice but honestly it's a little disappointing that a bunch of people would think that post was worthy of thanks. "Ooh I don't agree with someone's post so rather than make a solid point I will attempt to belittle them in an unrelated thread." It's flat out lame and quite franky I expect better out of some of you.

I realize that a lot of posters here use me purposely to raise their thank count as I have always been a man that isn't afraid to stray from the straight line and form his own opinions. The fact of that matter is despite wether you agree with me or not I always conduct myself as an adult and never badger other posters or make fun of other people. It's just a shame so many of you can not take the high road.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Oh man, EE, if anyone else said that I'd have to think they were joking, but you take yourself so seriously that I actually believe you typed that out with a straight face and no comedic intentions.

Update.

CEO Desmond Hague has resigned/ been fired after his attack on a 1 year old Doberman Pinsher.
The BCSPCA has also concluded that the Dog the dog belonged to HIM and not his friend. They have taken the dog into their custody and are still pursuing animal cruelty charges.

Actually, sounds like the dog belonged to a friend, or at least, ownership is unclear (from the same article):

Quote:
In his original apology statement, Hague said that Sade belonged to a friend. A spokeswoman for the BCSPCA refuted that claim, saying that Sade belonged to Hague and that the BCSPCA had taken custody of the pup.

However, on Tuesday, Marcie Moriarty, chief prevention and enforcement officer for BCSPCA, told Fortune that a second person has since come forward “claiming ownership” of Sade. Moriarty said the confusion arose in part because Hague initially told investigators that the dog belonged to him.
