From the timeline I was given in late July, should be sometime this week or next week. I haven't heard any updated timeline since.

There's been some merch showing up on the AHL shop. Obviously, I don't know if this will look like the jerseys but being similar items for other teams look like their jerseys, could be it. And personally, I wouldn't hate this as it looks to be the Flames Retro jersey colours with the flaming A. I'm all good with that.

One of our "veteran" members might have to comment on exacts as unfortunately I was born 3 years after Atlanta moved to Calgary, but looking up pictures it does seem to similar. I believe Adirondack may have added some black to the design, but the rest of the colours and stripes looks pretty similar.

(Ortio could copy the mask as well, I wouldn't hate that at all)

Flames hire new goalie coach for Adirondack:
Screaming Eagles @CBSEHockey
Congrats to former CBSE Goaltender Coach Scott Gouthro on his new job as Goaltender Development Coach with the Calgary Flames organization!
Eagles Nation @CBSEaglesHockey
Gouthro will work primarily with the Adirondack Flames (@AHLFlames), Calgary's top minor league affiliate.

Another young guy. This organization is going full rebuild, not just in terms of players, but in terms of the age of management/coaching staff.
Treliving, Conroy, Pascall, Huska, Sigalet and now Gouthro. All young guys who have been recently hired or promoted and put in important roles. We'll see how it goes, but I like it. The head of hockey ops may be an "old boy," but he certainly doesn't have "old boys" surrounding him.

I don't think this is his Twitter account unless he's a NASCAR super fan.

While I don't know Scott personally, he was an excellent goalie coach, worked really well with players and has an impressive resume.
I was really sad to see him leave the Eagles organization, happy to see he's involved with the Flames.
I have some connections with the Eagles so if you have any questions about Scott I'll do my best to find the answers (not that there are really any pressing questions for the team's AHL goalie coach).

Ask about what his instinctual reaction would be if an opposing team's coach tried to barge into his team's dressing room in a fit of rage.

ahl schedule is out:

The Adirondack Flames announced today their American Hockey League regular season schedule for the 2014-15 season, presented by Bud Light. The Flames will open their inaugural season on the road, when they face off against the Rochester Americans on October 10th at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY.
Opening Night at the Glens Falls Civic Center will take place on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m., when the Albany Devils travel up the Northway to play their non-conference rivals. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a coin, good for great discounts throughout the season, both at the Glens Falls Civic Center and throughout the greater Glens Falls community. The Flames will also give away a magnetic schedule to the first 2,500 fans in attendance, sponsored by Great Meadow Federal Credit Union. Additionally, Special Olympics New York will be in attendance for a parade of athletes.
The Flames will play 40 total games against their four North Divisional foes, including the Utica Comets and Rochester Americans, a total of 12 times each (6 home/6 road). The Flames will take on the North Division’s Canadian teams, the Toronto Marlies and Hamilton Bulldogs, eight times each (4/4). Adirondack will face Lake Erie, Rockford, Oklahoma City, and San Antonio four times (2/2). The Flames will play every other team in the Western Conference twice (1/1) with the exception of Charlotte, who the Flames will not see this year. The remainder of the Flames schedule will consist of crossover games (5/5) with four of the AHL’s Eastern Conference teams. The Civic Center will play host to 17 of the 29 other AHL clubs this season.
Adirondack’s heaviest workload will be the month of December when they will play 14 games including five at home. Below is a table which highlights the Flames month by month home and away meetings.

Full schedule: http://theahl.com/stats/schedule.php...id=&home_away=
They only have 4 "major" road trips during the season. In December, they play 3 games in six nights in Milwaukee, Iowa, and Chicago. In February, they play back-to-back nights in OKC. In March, they play 3 games in 5 nights, two in Rockford and one in Grand Rapids. Then, in April, they play 3 in 4 nights, one against Texas and two in San Antonio.
The rest of their road trips are relatively short.

Balanced schedule is actually balanced.
Longest gap between home dates is 18 days (Feb. 10-28), another 17 (Nov. 1-18), another is 14 (Mar 28-Apr 11). Nothing else more than 10 days.

Yea, that's a huge letdown. I just was trying to post this as well after seeing the spoiler on the Addy Flames Twitter.
They dropped the ball big time on the jersey design. Many people were hoping for a full out Atlanta Flames revival. They probably would have had huge sales if they went full retro on it. Those look like the regular NHL Flames jerseys which really aren't anything special.
