So a part of that leg was to go remember the vets?
Cool idea but were there any specs, like a minimum time? Don't want to be that guy, but it is a race and I would've been out of there pretty quick

i like that the teams slowed down and take their time as a mark of respect of those who have sacrificed

I'm sure they had some amount of perscribed time that each team had to be there.

This is what I imagined as well. Something along the lines of the cameraman with them timing their stay and saying "Okay, you're good. Go to the back of the cemetery now."

They probably just counted the moment they arrive at the cemetery as their check-in moment for that leg, that way they could spend as much time as they wanted in the cemetery. If you notice, nobody was running to the pit stop mat after the cemetery.

I was told that they spent about 15 minutes at the Bény sur Mer cemetery.

I'd like to think this was the case.

A very entertaining episode tonight. Even though game this is, integrity still counts for something. I was cheering for Alain and Audrey against Michel and Pierre at the end. And kudos to the Hockey girls who didn't need to U turn anybody and still won this leg.

Well, now we know why they've been playing up everyone saying the Gelinas Bros couldn't be trusted, all season long. Their betrayal finally backfired on them (although, they would have likely lost no matter who they U-Turned).
It's a good thing there's 3 and a half years until the next Olympics. Natalie & Meaghan are going to have to quit the team just to use all their free trips.

That's too bad. I was hoping Alain and Audrey were going home.
I'm cheering against the hockey girls as they are just too good at this.
The drama over the u-turn is hilarious, it's a tool available. I understand it will make people upset at you but it is a possibility so just deal with it. Ryan and Rob handled it much better

I'd be a little tickled too if someone only hours earlier said they wouldn't U-turn me and then go and do it.
It was almost as good as when Rob/Ryan ran into Suki/Jinder and asked have you found anything.
S/J "No"
R/R "What's that in your hands?"
S/J "Ummmm... nothing"

U turn is fair game but you shouldn't make a pack with the other team you did not intend to honour.

It was interesting to learn how worried the Forgets were about an alliance that was made to oust them.
From what I heard Rex/Bob, Cormac/Nicole, Alain/Audrey had aligned against Pierre and Michel and were frustrated because their group were the one's being eliminated. The Forgets assume that they would have been the one's U Turned anyway had the roles been reversed.
For me it's kind of up in the air as to whether P/M are really the "villains" they were portrayed as. Nicole mentioned that there was an unaired confrontation in an elevator that really set a bunch of the teams apart.

Looks like next week there is a nude portrait or something. That would be super awkward for some of the teams.
LOL, shame Cormac & Nicole are gone, would love to see their reactions to that hahahaha

How many chances are Rob & Ryan going to get????
Go for the fast forward, fail, have to start again. Eat 50 something grilled cheese, decide to change task finish what had to be hours after everyone else (again) and be on a non elimination leg.

Why would Rob and Ryan stick with the fast forward when clearly the first team to arrive would finish first? You can't "model" faster than someone else. Those guys are boneheads.
Suhki in a thong? Yes please.

The Fast Forward was really cheesy. All that the contestants needed to do was to strip and the first team will pass. That's all.

Rob and Ryan are nice guys, but wow, they suck at this game. Too many second chances. Sukhi and Jinder have gone from the whiny "how do we do this?" team to cutthroat. They're a real threat now.

Rob and Ryan are too laid back and carefree. They might be good beer drinking pals but in an intense competition like this one, I'm surprised that they lasted this long.

The Charlottetown conference task was the most imaginative and meaningful task in the show's history.
Suki and Jinder's tricketry was distasteful. It's not like they were losing and they were just trying to win No. 1 which I'm sure the hockey girls were tired of winning by now. The hockey girls were right, there's a right way to play this game.
