I'm thinking it's the flaming part. Undecided on incorporating the Saddledome, as it could be dated, but if a new arena isn't happening for 10 or so years, I would like to see that!
Thanks so much for everybody's efforts. I love looking at these concepts! A lot of talent and creativity here indeed. Makes for one happy poster.

The red part reminded me a bit of the shape of the dome's roof as it is. No big deal either way. Nice suggestions though I like those ones.

Some awesome logos and designs! Some people have a lot of talent! In my personal opinion, I don't care for any logos that incorporate a silhouette of a skater. I find these ones too busy and something about them look off. Really like the speech bubble one!

Create an account on photobucket.com and upload your images there. You can then copy the http address of the photo and then post it using the 'Insert Image' button on the posting UI here.

You have an extra set of [ IMG ] and [/IMG] tags in there. Delete the first and last tag.
It's currently this:

Man, I will spend my entire mid-30s doing this stuff ... But I feel I may be coming closer to my final (and the only) proposal so pls give me a few more days. This is the latest speech bubble puck experiment with the type of perspective that I originally used:

The more I've seen these things the more I think there will either be two winners, or one winner with a two logo design (change of the master). I like some of the rectangular logos for the top of the site, but I prefer a more square/round logo as well for things like the twitter account.
Lots to choose from.
