You might be thinking of something different as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is not a Wes Anderson film. Are you thinking of The Grand Budapest Hotel?

I've been ridiculously infatuated with Lea Seydoux since Inglorious Basterds. Then I saw Blue is The Warmest Colour and my head almost exploded. Rumours have it that she's the next Bond girl.

Every time this topic comes up, the movie "17 Again" springs right into my head.

After watching it, I finally understood some of the infatuation with Zac Efron. He is so charming in that movie!

Primer

Vanilla Sky

Mr. Hollands Opus

Irreversible <---- Be very careful with this one. Very disturbing, and there is no way to back out. It starts very quick.

And Synecdoche, New York. Probably the most moving film I have ever seen, and made me an instant Phillip Seymour Hoffman fan. This film will one day be considered a completely classic masterpiece.

The South Park movie. I had seen clips of the show prior to that movie coming out, but never really understood its appeal. It kind of annoyed me actually.

My friends wanted to watch the movie and I begrudgingly agreed. It is probably one of the few comedies that no matter how many times I've seen it, still makes me laugh.

Mean Girls - Was not at all happy to get dragged to that one. Ended up really enjoying it.

Shaving Ryan's privates - I was expecting two hours of close ups of some guy getting his junk cleaned up, but the movie is so much deeper and got to me on several levels.....

3 Colors Red: Was going to the Plaza to see the Cannes best Commercials - but had the wrong day. This weird french film was playing so we decided to see it. Amazing film

Crazy, Stupid, Love: Don't like Carrell but my wife made me watch this - glad she didl

Last of the Mohicans: Started watching it - hated it. Had people tell me how good it was so tried again and loved it. Not sure what was wrong with me the first time.

Notebook: Tough not to get caught up in that one.

Forrest Gump: Didn't get all the hype so resisted it - when I finally saw it I appreciated why everyone loved it. Oh wait- that's not right. I realized it was actually the big POS that I figured it was, and in fact worse. FU Forrest you running idiot.

Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

I had a buddy that threw a viewing party for this movie. He invited a great crowd and the drinks were plentiful. I never laughed so hard.

1. The Way, Way Back
2. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
3. American History X (at the time, it was kind of understated and had some girls convince me to watch it with them)
4. Love and Other Drugs
5. Identity (You don't hear much about this John Cusak film, but I though it was really well done)

Can't really compile a list but

SNOWPIERCER was one. Really a weird unpredictable movie with lots of laughs and crazy actions.

Well, I resisted initially, but then I asked myself, 'what would Brian Boitano do?' and then I was on board.

Like others I would say The Notebook. Getting me to watch it was like pulling teeth, but it's a good movie. I liked that it was realistic unlike many other romance flicks.

Another one I will mention is Dear John. I had no desire to see it because it was just another Channing Tatum flick but a date insisted, it ended up being much better than I expected and was alot less of a romance than I was expecting too.

Went to the movies with a gf in '99 to see a movie (I forget what), it was sold out so we ended up going to see "American Pie" on opening night. Nobody even heard about it at that point and it wasn't ruined by hype yet. Thought it was hilarious.

Star wars 1-6
Waited 30+ years to see them, and am now having a blast watching them constantly with my 5 year old.
