another wing-back down ... poor Jesse Lingard. He's worked hard for years to get this chance and then it's over after 20 minutes.

le sigh. At least Januzaj is looking good in Lingard's spot. And Nani could bring more offence.

well let's hope Woodward finally understands that they need to make a couple signings badly.

By far, United's worst signing ever. Absolutely useless.

Played himself out of the club today and was asleep for that second goal. Other lessons learnt. Young won't cut it as a LB.

Not that it made much of a difference but not a fan of how LvG handcuffs himself with the early substitutions and absolutely baffled at how Fellaini came on for Herrera and not Fletcher.

ZERO creativity and threat to Swansea aside from two set pieces. Time for Woodward to get to work but methinks the prices just went up.

And I can get why opposition fans talk about Fergie time based on today. A very random extra minute and a half tacked on to an event free stoppage time?

It is crazy that for about 3 summer windows now United has failed to shore up their midfield.

Terrible red card given in the West Ham-Tottenham game.

Linesman called it. Must have felt the defender blocked a certain goal.

Herrera is quality though. Just need another class midfielder beside him now ... Fletcher absolutely can't be first choice anymore

Happy to see Swansea pull out the upset win.
Not too thrilled when they moved Michu and Vorm in the offseason but this takes the sting out.
Sigurdsson addition paid off and Baby Jeff Montero brings a lot of speed to the front line.

West Ham vs Tot:

Pretty good considering he had a 50 or 60 yard run up at almost full speed, and kicked a left footer in stride, on net.

Eriksen with hands on his head, possibly thinking that maybe the invader was taking the shot he was meaning to take, or, even funnier, in shock that it looked like the guy may put it in.

Jim White ✔ @JimWhite
Hearing that highly-rated centre-back Mehdi Benatia on his way from AS Roma to Manchester United. #MUFC #ASRoma

White has been spot on so far this summer, hope he's right once again. Would be a MASSIVE signing.

Nice to see Villa open with a win on the road. Just gotta hope the season turns out a little better than last did after beating Arsenal to start the year.

Arsenal seriously need to sign a striker. There is no way in hell we should be starting a turd like Sanogoals.

Also, if Chamakh could find a red shirt as handily as he has today when he was with us, he could have gone on to be a legend.
