I really liked how the pucked looked when it was dumped in off the glass. Realistic looking, but the first guy back could still pick it up if he was in the right position.
i hate dipsy doodling hockey, it is just not something you see happening often in a hockey game.... Hoping all those dekes shown in that video aren't going to be reflective of not really needing to pass or play with any kind of strategy to get the puck in the offensive zone.
Thanks EA. Now that is what I'd consider to be gameplay.
It looks good. I like the overall flow of the action and and I like how the game doesn't look cartoony, if that makes sense. The aesthetic looks a bit different.
Presentation is pretty great as well.
Hopefully getting some hands on time with the demo will reveal some of the nice smaller touches that are possible in this gen's physics and animations.
Consider me sold.

Reason: Added screen cap
The graphics look great. The skating looks more natural, what needs most improving is going from normal to using the skill stick and how quickly the players pivot.
The unnatural speed of movement makes it look weird and not fluid, the players don't seem to really have lateral momentum. Maybe next year they'll work on it once they have the base engine worked out. The way players move side to side in real hockey is yet to be duplicated, but if they have eashl with no lag and good menus I'm in, should be fun.
