Still her first full year on tour so hopefully she's learned some things, but her play seems to be getting worse which is troublesome.

That said, you'd rather have a player rise up to big tournament than one who chokes in them (like Wozniacki used to).

Maybe Genie should date Wozniacki and then dump her so she can catch fire like Rory has. Dumping Wozniacki is a slump buster. But if looking for some positive for next week the last time she lost 3 matches in a row she won the tournament in Nurnberg, she hopefully she can use that to motivate her.

Genie is trying to hit too many winners from the baseline and is giving away easy points to her opponents. She has the pace on her ground strokes to put pressure on her opponent and move them from side-to-side. I think one of the biggest things misiing from her game right now is patience. I like the aggressive side to her game, but it needs to be more controlled.

More upsets in Cincy as Tommy Robredo takes out Joker in straight sets (7-6(6), 7-5) - Milos and Steve Johnson are going to a 3rd set to decide their match.

Djoker is a mess right now. Could be looking at back to back first match exits. Having the kid and getting married probably occupying a lot of time. But that makes the US Open men's draw more open, certainly improves the chances of guys like Milos and Dimitrov.

Milos survives (just barely) against Steve Johnson. 7-6(4) in the 3rd and deciding set.

It was closer than it should have been. He had the chance to serve for the match at 5 - 3 and triple double faulted.
Ugly moment, but good on him for not imploding after such a goofy moment.

Milos needs to step up and take this tournament, particularly if Murray takes out Federer. Milos might not get a better look for the next year or so gotta cash it in.

You said it, Clay, especially now that Wawrinka was just eliminated by Julien Benneteau. Obviously, Milos needs to get past Fognini first, but he doesn't deserve a shot at the title if he can't beat Fabio.

I know Fognini wasn't putting up much opposition in that set, but man oh man Milos was hitting some nice groundies.

Fognini's injury timeout might have been longer than the whole match. That was a destruction.

Wow what a collapse by Murray, up 4-1 and two breaks in the second and loses 6 of the final 7 games to lose to match. Milos gets Fed again, let's see if he can get some breaks this time.

Also of note, Sock and Pospisil are at it again. They are in the semis in doubles, and will probably play around 3:30 or so.
That collapse by Murray was hard to watch. Was hoping he'd force a long three set match.

Pospisil and Sock into another final. Against the Bryans. Waiting on Raonic to start.
